Smoktech 1.7 XL tank feeding problems

Hi,

I've been vaping for a while but I've run into a brick wall,

my local ecig $tore only had XL version of the smoktech 1.7 single coil carts so i grabbed a bunch of those, the reg size ones work great in my phiniac tank but these are having major feeding problems.

at the start i was using 50/50 pg/vg juice and now i'm using boba bounty,

they both are having problems, my phinac is a reg size tank so the xl does stick out a bit, don't know if this is causing the problems?

and i'm waiting on my xl tank version

I've used about 3 cartos, and each of them has problems,

I've tried one hole, and two holes.

I only ever needed one hole on the reg smoktech and boge cartos for it to make a bubble each time you took a drag and taste fantastic.

these xl cartos even with two holes and dragging as hard as i can, can bearly make a bubble, if i drag normal there's no bubbles at all and it just tastes really really dry. unvapable

I'm punching the holes myself just as i would the reg cartos. and I've tried following vids online about doing it correctly with two holes

also is it just me or is the filter in the smoktech 1.7 XL way tighter then the boge or reg size 1.7's?

I don't have any reg cartos around to really compare

It may be an issue with the filler density in the smoktech cartos.I ran into the same issues using 1.5 ohm xls in my tanks,found it impossible to find that sweet spot,tried punching,drilling and slotting but either had no flow or never ending drainage.

I use Ressurector 1.7 from Crystal Clear Vaping ( I believe it"s the same one ) and had problems when I increased the vg ratio on my juice. Went back to 80/20% pg/vg and problem solved. Also I dremel one larger slot or two smaller slots, both seem to work. Hope this helps.

I think you might be right freekshow,

artt my first diy mix was 70/30 pg/vg and that didn't even work.

it's weird that the reg size works great,

I'm going to order the boge xl 45mm and see how they work
