New guy here from Florida.

I was doing some shopping today and noticed, like ususal, the Smoking Everywhere ecig in the mall. I always pass it by but decided to see what it was all about. WOW!!! I have always wanted to quit but loved smoking at the same time and this solves my issues with smoking!!!

I will be picking up 2 of these. 1 for zero nic and 1 with nic.

So stoked! Still learning all this terminology tho... it's quit confusing haha.

Welcome to ECF!

Please, don't buy from them. Their product may be good but they are way over priced. You can find the same models and/pr better models for a lot less money and with much better customer service. Do some reading and you will quickly see that there is a lot better out there than what you can get in the mall.

I have a 510 manual and a Janty Stick. Both of which I would highly recommend depending on your needs. If that is big vapor and a cigarette like experience as far as draw goes rather than what it looks like then you wouldn't regret either of those models. Both are easy to start vaping. I had a 'supermini' - similar to an SE but quit smoking the day I got a 510. And....

There is a subforum for Blu on the main page. Go check it out. They are not that popular either. In fact, if I'm not mistaken, there is a 6 week backorder because of a recall.

Something like a DSE 901 or one of the many brands of the 510 are great starter ecigs. You can get them from several different suppliers and if you don't mind waiting about a week, you can get one from China at a pretty good price. I have both and I am still using them both. They each have their own pros and cons and you will learn what better suits your needs as you go along. Whatever you order, be sure to get an extra atty and battery just in case and try some sampler size flavors of ejuice to find out what you are going to like.

To OP:
For that price you can afford to get it then read the stuff later and you'll have something solid will give you a reference for what you're reading. Many people end up there anyway.

Since you mentioned both Blu and SE there's one maxim that an old vet posted here that relayed much truth:

"The more it looks like a cigarette, the less it performs like one".

There are exceptions, but the one's you've mentioned aren't in that group. The 510 is a bit longer than a 100 cig.

Just so you know, the 510 and 901 are considered 'mini's'. The SE, Blu are "supermini's". The mini's have a bit bigger batteries. Again, the mini's are @112 mm just a bit longer than a 100 long cigarette. And they perform much better than the superminis.

To Luma:

bornagainst is really right on this point - you are the rare new member that came here first - take advantage of that fact and acknowledge that you were smart enough to do that! Read those posts I originally linked - those people only got here after the fact and some spent a fortune learning what you knew to do before. Some spent over $150 and still had to buy the 510 or another ecig here for $40 or $50.

Now, that said, doesn't mean that you won't be spending more on juice and some accessories but with juice you can vape for a long time before spending another dime. And you would have needed juice with the SE or Blu too.
