Hey everyone, I'm new to the world of vaping and electronic cigarettes. I guess I should write that I started smoking when I was 14 and quickly fell in love with it. As time went by, I realized how bad it really was and I quit around 16. That lasted for over a year until right before I turned 18. I smoked regularly then until about a week ago. To be clear, I'm 19. At my worst, I was smoking over a pack a day and at my best I would smoke 1 to 2 cigarettes in a day. Last Wednesday, at my favorite cigarette shop I asked about e-cigarettes and the guy told me about greensmartliving. They were cheap so I bought a starter kit and headed out. I don't know how many of you have tried greensmartliving, but I'd say that they're OK. The taste is horrible, but they really did help me forget about the taste of cigarettes, a taste I loved so much. Yesterday, at another tobacco shop, I asked about their e-cigarettes and they showed me a model from EV, or Everyone Vapes is what it says on their card. I bought a couple flavors and hated one and love the other. I'll probably buy some more flavors on Monday. If you know of any good ones that are common in tobacco shops, that'd be great. I would order through the mail, but people seem to break into mail boxes where I live and take packages.

Tobacco Shops are not the place to go for vaping products and info..
Try and search for a Vape Shop ! Googgle it for your area..
They will give you some real advice, help, and should have some products that work, but aren't too expensive..
After getting a foot hold... Online shopping with a secure delivery, like signing or picking up your packages should help.

The second tobacco shop I went to seemed more focused on vaping, but most of their products appeared cheap. I did get great advice there, so I will probably go back if I can't find a vape shop close enough. Thanks for your advice. At this point, I could really use all the help I can get. :)

Any thing that keeps you off the stinkies is a good thing but start looking at an ego style Variable Voltage battery and a tank set up for your next purchase (~$30 total). It is a much better vapeing experience but don't give up the Green if it is working for you until you have something better.

Welcome!

I managed to access the greensmart website. No surprise, it's mini e-cigs with refills.

I remember smoking aged 18-20 or so and never even thought to quit. Smokes were inexpensive then ($1 for 10) and now they are $5 (equivalent for 10) in the UK.

If you are definitely addicted to nicotine or don't want to stop (no judgmental attitude on ECF) you can vape for far less with proper kit. Proper kit is bigger batteries (eGo or mod) and any sort of system to refill the liquid from bottles, as you've already found, I guess.

I don't know much about the scene in the US with young adults and smoking, but over here, most are keen to use e-cigarettes (for health and money) and surprisingly (given how good they are at accessing the internet from tablets/phones/ computers) they all seem to like the expensive and not very effective look-a-likes.

The more the word can spread that there is some amazing e-cig stuff out there, the better.

Good luck with it all. :)
