Wanted to stop by and say hello. Yup, new member to the forum, been looking at it quite a bit over the last couple of weeks. So, history I guess. Was a long time smoker, tried quitting a couple of times, just couldn't do it with the wife still smoking and not wanting to give up. The last time I had quite for around 3 weeks. I realized that I was angry all the time and wanted to rip off my kids heads so I picked up a juul. It worked the trick, but wasn't totally satisfying. I have a few things that I don't like about it so I ordered myself an Aspire Premium kit for Christmas to get me started. Found a pretty good deal on it so I'm happy. Looking foward to learning all I can.

Read a lot, it helped me. I looked up hardware that was mentioned and asked about abbreviations. In the sub-forums their is a lot of information. I go to the sub-forum and use the search function.

I spend a lot of time. I always research my next purchase. I cut and paste stuff that I think I will need later, or as a reference.

Share, peeps will help.

Thank you all. I have some pretty strong Google Foo, so I do a fair amount of research. I knew that eventually I would likely get into the more powerful kits and things, and knew that I wanted a little bit more customization than some of the less expensive blister packs provide, and that was why I went with the kit I'm getting. I still need to get my hands on some drip tips though so I can find a potion I really like. Last think I want to do right now with my lack of experiance is fill the Nauti Mini tank and not like what's in it. IMO I feel that would be a waste of time having to clean it out etc. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure that there are plenty of reasons to get a CE4, Blister Pack setup, etc. But it seems to me that the setup I'm waiting on would last me a little bit longer.

Welcome.

Google fu is a double-edged sword. It sounds like you missed the deadly side whilst finding your new hardware, rather than falling for the scam boys and overpriced 'mall shop' brands which are a scourge on the industry ($130 for a £30 e-cig). Good for you.

Well done on quitting. Juul has had a few mentions on here, some good, some bad.

Importantly, you are on the road. :)

Yup, you ain't kidding. I don't know how some of those places stay in business. I ended up getting the setup from Vapor Kings ($50.00). I have heard a few mentions about them from some of the Video Vapers that have been around for quite some time (who I think are also a little bias because they get free stuff). I also checked out my local B&M to see if they had something to meet my requests (VV, Ego style, Nauti Mini tank or something similar) and all they could do for me was close to $70 out the door. Don't get me wrong, I'm not cheap, but this time of year if I can save a few bucks, well then I'm going to. I feel that if you can't at least do 90-95% of your own research first, then whatever you end up with is your own fault.
