aight cool.
so i ordered smok Tech e-Power Nova Kit from madvapes which i guess wasnt the best choice for a begginer.
somehow i managed to fill one of the tanks with liquid, and tried to use it. when i press the button first of all i hear this pop sound and than when i try to take a hit theres just the taste of the liquid and no vapor at all, there also seem to be some leekage.
thats the kit that i ordered: Smok Tech e-Power Nova Kit
any ideas?

at first i filled it about half way, and now after taking it apart and cleaning the leaks and whatnot theres barely any fluid left. the little knot is wet and theres just very little fluid on the bottom, the pop sound is still there everytime i press the button and every time theres just one single pop sound.
there was no instructions included so im not sure if i was supposed to do something special with it before use. I just put the parts together and tried it but with no luck.

If the picture in the link that you provided matches what you actually have, those are mini Vivi Nova tanks. The strings in the tank are used to wick the e-liquid up to the heating coil head, sort of like how a lantern works with butane fuel.

Those strings have to be wet in order to wick the liquid up to the heating coil, and sometimes a newly filled tank needs to "set up" to allow the wicks time to be fully saturated. With these types of tanks, its good to get into the habit of "swirling or twirling or tipping" the tank to insure the wicks stay wet. Especially when the juice level gets lower as you vape it.

Since on first fill, you only filled it half way, I'm guessing that those wicks weren't wet enough to cause any vapor. This is what we old timers call a "dry hit".

Just to cover all bases here, did you charge the battery before using it?

yes the wicks are wet. am i supposed to fill the tank with liquid or just wet the wicks?

and with batteries, i didnt charge it cause it kinda seemed to be working, when i press the button the light flashes and it makes noise.
but just in case i already plugged charger and put the second battery in there, but im not even sure if it charges, the red light is on and im not sure what it means so ill just keep it there and see if the light changes.

btw thanks for all the replies :D

Red light means it's charging. When it goes steady green it's done. :)

The batteries are shipped with a partial charge, so it will appear to be working if you press the fire button. Best thing to do is to charge it fully now.

The light will be red while it charges, it will turn green when it is charged and ready for use.

Yes, you need to fill the tank about 3/4 full, not to the top. Frequently tilt the tank to make sure the top of the string wicks get wet, and continue this to insure that they stay wet.

Vaping technique is not quite like dragging on a cigarette. Take a puff by sucking some vapor into your mouth, much like you would suck on a milkshake. Slow, gentle, consistant draws for 3-4 seconds. Then inhale, and exhale through both your mouth and nose. Your nose will help you to taste the flavor of the vapor.
