You need high drain IMR/hybrid 'safer' chemistry batteries, bought from reputable vendors / dealers to avoid counterfeit, fake, erroneously labeled batteries.
Resistance range is a personal preference tempered by your batteries ability to handle the amp draw plus a margin under the CDR as headroom for safety.

I'd say hell no to the batteries. Ultrafire has a bad name for vapers, plus if I remember right it's a very low amp rating on them batteries. Batteries if one item you don't want to be cheap on. Ultrafire would be good for flashlights, not for vaping.
Aren't those like 10A batteries? Yeah. What they said. Sony VTC4's have never done me wrong, just make sure they are authentic by buying from a reliable source. Search batteries at the top of the page and get some knowledge in you.

Avoid any battery with 'fire' in the name, especially since the samsungs are 5 bucks a piece. You will be safer and not breaking the bank.

Here's the word on batteries for vaping. I'd stay above .7 Ohms with that battery. It's not the one I'd pick for a mech mod. I like Sony VTC4s or Samsumg 25Rs.
Why would you recommend any resistance range for a battery of the wrong chemistry & a 2a ~3a max.

I would do the reading on battery safety and ohm law, if you are using a mech especially you have to know enough to be safe. If you don't have the time to do research, maybe start with a regulated aka chipped device that will offer some protection if you are using the wrong battery/overloading.
