The Return of the Dead Rabbit:

The Dead Rabbit rta V2 has little in common with the first version designed by Vapin Heathen, it changes practically everything and no piece is interchangeable!
Compared to the screw opening of the top-cap of the V1, the V2 has a new slide system with the upper part screwed and removable. The base of the V 2 now adopts a thermal plate in PC to reduce the heat during use and reduce the possibility of scratching the mod

Like the Dead Rabbit V2 RDA, the turrets are now angled in the shape of a Y to facilitate cutting the coil leg's and to better channel the particular air flow through the newly designed bell, the holes for the coils on the uprights are also larger and different shape to better accommodate complex resistances, we also find two "backs" that facilitate the positioning of the cotton over the slots in the suspended deck. Finally, the tank's capacity has increased.

The packaging of the Dead Rabbit V2 has an open window on the product and the inevitable emblem of the zombie rabbit.

On the back are the characteristics and contents of the package.

1928 is shown on the first side of the package (visible below in the photo), followed by an image of the V2. The ambitious "perfectus" writing covers the entire area of the second side.

On the first of the two short sides we find the indication on the color of the V 2, a bar code and the scratch and check.

To begin to analyze the V2 version, the comparison with the V1 version is mandatory.
To save time in the refill phase, Hellvape opted for the sliding system, this system is completely removable and also guarantees a secure closure as it was designed, the top-cap is in fact screwed onto the sliding plate creating excellent resistance to involuntary openings, goal achieved, danger averted and refill times delayed.

The new opening system no longer has sunken buttonholes, thus gaining greater e-liquid capacity, the tip uses the same coupling system as the previous version through internal o'ring to the cap. In this new version we find a large white "Tfv8 style" gasket to guarantee the seal between the sliding cap and the refill area.

The new pyrex glass guarantees a larger capacity, declared of 0.5ml more, I have the impression that there are at least 2ml of difference in favor of the V2 version.

The bell of the V2 version in the upper part has new air-flow slots, 2mmx1.5mmx12mm against 2mmx2.0mmx10mm of the V1 version.
The new bell no longer has the cutouts for the teeth on the deck of the V1, now it uses a less complicated direct screwing system to the suspended tank.

The interior of the Bell V2 has been redesigned and houses 36 total holes with honeycomb design for a large passage of air, its interior goes to ø 16mm against the 17mm of the V1 version. At the base, the locks on the bell (V1) to be screwed to the deck are no longer present.

The design of the deck changes considerably, now the turrets are oriented upwards to facilitate the cutting of the legs from below, the holes for the legs are now enlarged and square in order to better accommodate complex coils. The buttonholes for cotton now adopt backrests that allow better positioning of the same.

The raised deck of the V2 version has slightly lowered than the V1 version and now has the thread to hold the bell. The base instead of the knurling (V1) has a decorative design that does not compromise its grip as the thread is sliding. The slotted screws on the turrets were immediately replaced by me with the Allen screws in the box.

In the V2 version, a PC thermal insulation plate has been introduced, to do this the bottom of the Dead Rabbit has been worked and lowered, the PC plate is threaded and screwed onto the pin. The positive turret is insulated and naturally removable for thorough cleaning.

I have tried several regenerations both in Single and Dual, with different types of wire, with more or less complex coils.
The choice for comparison with the V1 was a simple Build in Dual; KA1 24AWG 5 coils ø3mm of 0.24Ω used mostly between 43 and 50W with HF between 200 and 230.

The arrangement of cotton is the main factor for obtaining a good aromatic yield and a good production of steam, this factor was already very important in the V1 version where particular attention had to be paid to the size of the cut of the mustache and their positioning in the slots. With the V2 version, the new backrests help to keep the cotton in place, practically just resting the cotton on the eyelets without even inserted it too much, to the advantage of a greater capillarity of the liquid and a better aromatic transmission.

As a fan of the HellVape brand I can not help but recommend the Dead Rabbit V2, in practice a very elaborate evolution of the valid Dead Rabbit V1. An RTA built well. This Dead Rabbit V2, uses useful precautions to simplify its use, particular attention has been paid by the hellVape technicians in trying to decrease the temperatures involved, in facilitating the regeneration operation for the user and in speeding up the refill. I think the best overall performance of the V2 version is mainly due to all the changes made and analyzed in detail (I hope) in this review. Good HellVape.
