Check out super-t manufacturing's precise ELA. Some incredible features in that mech, plus lifetime warranty, not that you should have to use it except to get it refinished in a couple years or so. Only about 20 left in the last pre order round and then after a short break they'll come back without some of the extras and the price will be higher.

I am particularly fond of the Electric Angel (EA mod) Since I already have this video on my clipboard, I'll post it. You can get them directly from electricangel.fi
For orders outside the US, they deduct the VAT.

I also have a roller from Atimizoo. They have some in stock right now. If you order, go ahead a pick up a few extra springs and an essential spares kit because shipping is high to the US and you will want to get all you might need in your initial order.

Both of these devices are highend and do not require any modding to get them to work well. Be sure to clean your contacts regularly to get/keep optimal conductivity.

These are just my recommendations, the devices I personally use and enjoy. :)

edit... the eric's edition 69 is one that I wanted also but I've kinda lost interest now. I'm watching for the GGTS to come back (will be soon) but I've got 3 mechs that I really like and I don't need another so I won't be heartbroken if I don't get the GGST. It's more of wanting one because of the challenge of getting it (to be honest)

You could get a bonafide great mechanical... there are a lot to look at; not all available at the same time.
In the meantime, an option; get one (or two) of the "better" clones out there to use while stalking...
ie. K100 for around $25 at Fast Tek etc will do the trick handily.
Make sure you get good IMR batts.

I looked at super t but what makes then stand out from the gym offers models or say atimizoos products? I really like the nemesis and 69 and a couple others... I don't mind spending 220 but I want it to at least be serial numbered...I also like the chi you

I really wanted to get a supert device but that tapered bottom button is a negative for me, not really "stand up friendly".. but it does have a lifetime warranty and made here in the US.

I choose the atmizoo Roller over the 69 because it was available at the time and the 69 wasn't (and still isn't) I'm hearing really good things about the Nemesis and it's conductivity but again.. it's a bottom button device and I don't want to have to keep twisting the bottom to turn it "off" before I set it down for fear the weight will cause it to fire. It's pretty hard to get right now also.

The chi you is almost impossible to get unless you want to pay top dollar in the classys although I hear they may up production and sell them through different vendors (like the EA mod) which will make them more available (and less desirable to some)

I also have a Moneypenny mech, a hand made copper and brass mod made in Washington.. it performs extremely well but not everyone likes the steampunk look.

The Zap is an excellent first rba...it comes already set up and there is a video on the Provape site of Zen showing exactly what to do when you get it and how to recoil it. I really enjoyed mine but I wanted a GP Spheriod so I traded the zap for the spheriod. I miss the zap but it was quite heavy and didn't fit my vaping style :(

The Poldiac from mmvapors is also an excellent device.. I've never been interested enough to actually buy it, just too fancy for me. But they sure are beautiful, especially the brass.. but that takes a bit of maintenance to keep the brass all shined up.

I've also not been too interested in the hybrids.. I like to change my stuff around too much to have an all in one device, although in retrospect, it would have been much cheaper.

310vapers has some nice hybrids but most of them are hard to get. The Nobel 1 comes in stock quite often and you can subscribe to get email notifications.

When you say "EA model".. I assume you're talking about the EA mod from electricangel.fi You said you had a zap on order...just fyi, if you order the EA and get the version that comes with the air control top.. you can take the ring off of the air control top and according to Grimm Greene, the zap will fit on the EA, giving it the hybrid look.

what is a "gym offers model"?

Just ordered a roller. Thanks for the links!

And coincidentally, I just sold a SS GGTS in classies. Didn't realize they were so rare. I remember ordering it and waiting like half a year for it but it just sat in a drawer for 6 months. It's fun learning about all the new mods that have come out since I've been active on ecf.

The real thing that makes a Super-T mod stand apart from the rest is the lifetime transferrable warranty that also covers refinishing the mod as well. Also, the battery contacts are rhodium plated, so they will NEVER tarnish and don't need a heavy cleaning, just the occasional wipe with a soft towel and good as new, unlike other mods with silver contacts that would need constant cleaning to maintain top notch conductivity.

The adjustable center post on the ELA is a huge plus over others as well. I owned the EA mod (briefly) and the pin on that just slides with nothing holding it stable, so if you crank the mod down too tight, the mod's pin will push up on the atties pin and cause a short. This problem is magnified greatly if you use a kick. I found there was still a fair amount of wobble in the body even when screwing it down tight enough to potentially damage the kick, whick brings me to my 3rd point, body wobble.

Conventional telescope designs inherently have a slight wobble to them because of the threads in the telescope tube. The ELA's tube has no threads, it's a compression locking ring that tightens two sliding tubes together. Once it's tight, it's like it's one tube. It's like with a normal telescope, the wobble is eliminated by compressing the tubes around the battery, but with the ELA, you compress the tubes to each other, not the battery.

I'm not a Super-T "fanboy" (I hate that word), there are other mods I would gladly acquire, though the list is shorter than most people's. Also I'm not trying to dis the EA, many people love this mod, I just didn't. I do however have certain criteria that I expect my device to meet, especially if I'm paying $150+ on basically a metal tube. It better be one hell of a tube, ya' dig!

The thing about the ZAP is that it has a skirt to cover the taper on a provari. Most high end mech's have a flat top, so to use a ZAP, you'd also have to use a 510-510 adapter. There is the ZAU, though do they still make those? It's the same as the ZAP, just without the skirt. The only mechs I'm aware of that have a tapered top are the Chi-Chi and the Legacy. The ZAP works well with the Legacy, not sure with the chi-chi. The Legacy is of high-end quality with a mid-ranged price, starting at $90 for either a standard or a mini, and you can get the full set-up with tapered and flat caps for around $160?

Also I just read you use carto's mostly. The ELA comes with 2 topcaps. 1 for rba's and the second is an adjutable airflow topcap that is made specifically for carto's. Just lettin you know! :)
