Okay guys I really need some help here.
I just broke open a new 510 atomizer about a week ago. Burned thru the primer within the first day and got like 5 solid days of amazing vape. practically perfect. I was in heaven.

Than one day everything started tasting burnt and disgusting. I did some research and found it could have to do with a dry atty. I dropped a few drops (2) on my atomizer as i read in a few threads here. After that i was getting hardly any vapor. It looked like it was flooded so I blew out the atomizer. I ran the blown out atomizer for a few seconds and it turned red and produced vapor that smelled burnt and awful. I than popped the cartridge on and tried some vape action. I got tons of vapor but once again it tasted burnt and awful!!!

So I need some help here. Am I wetting the atomizer incorrectly? When i wet it I drop 2 drops on. Let it sit (5-10min) and than vape and its always flooded. I've tried this at least 5 times with the same results. Please help me :(

Cant drip AND use carts w filler, pick one and it wont flood ;)

Ahhhh, man i feel like a total idiot. I am really in love with my 510 (been smoke free for like 3 months now never once thought about going back to my 2 packs a day).

So I really like carts more since they are a little easier and more convenient, how would I go about getting rid of this burnt taste than..?

Thanks a bunch! This site is great!

This is just my opinion, if it was my atty.

I'd soak it in listerine for a 1/2 hour, then flush it out with gallons of hot water.
Blow out real good from both sides, then let dry on a paper towel with the battery end up overnight. Prime with a few drops the next day, and you should be good to go. It may take a few minutes and some more priming, but it will be like new again.

Again, just my opinion

When I have the "ever-lasting" burnt flavor, I pull off the atty, and run HOT water (190 degrees actually) from my One Cup Coffee maker through the atty.

I hold the atty under the hot water outlet of the coffee maker (Above of glass or coffee mug of course), water fills the atty, let it drain, and repeat until coffee cycle is complete (About 10 - 15 seconds). Then I swish the atty around in the hot water in the cup. Blow out the atty from both ends for a minute and add 3 drops of e-liquid to atty. I generally like to wait a few minutes before I vape on it. Works 100% of the time for me.

I have read were people wait over night before use, I havent seen the need for that at all.

Hope this helps!
