Alright I just started vapeing not to long ago and I just wanted some tips. I currently use an ego v v3 with an evod tank. It's nothing special but I'm ready to upgrade with your guy's help. I'm thinking about the vamo v5 or is that mod any good?. Only think is im stuck on the tank decision. I don't know a lot about tanks like what cartos are and what's better so I need help lol. I just want a nice tank that gives the best flavor that I really don't have to rebuild the atomizer for. So if anyone can help a noob out that would be great.

Also any good eliquid websites that do 50/50 blends with strong flavors would be helpful. :)

First:
For power, keep an eye out for an mvp2.
It is a high capacity passthrough battery; shop around and you'll find one for $40.

If you get vamo, you will also need to get a couple batteries and a charger for it.
I have one and I have a sigelei zmax also; right now my vamo has center pin issues and it's a pain to fix, if it can be fixed otherwise it was what I'd be using.

For a tank, look for a miniprotank2 (v2).

The evod is plastic with a metal jacket. The miniprotank is glass/pyrex tank.
(I'm a little concerned about the chrome plated brass but I've never heard anything bad so far.)
They both use the same replacement atomizer.

If you don't want to try recoiling the atomizers, consider at least rewicking them with cotton, or just partially rewicking- the flavor topwicks; at the very least you will either want to dryburn the coils when the gunk up or put them to soak.

The other options are carto tank, where you buy use and toss cartos (unless you get a Leo),
or a rebuildable like a Kayfun where you buy a roll of kanthal and recoil your coils every few weeks of months.

I'd suggest an Innokin vv3 for your carry around and Innokin MVP2 for home use, that's what I use :)

I prefer bottom coilers for the cooler hit but they do suffer from flooding I have a mini-protank 2 and an aspire ET-S for the vv3 but the iclear 16 that came with it is pretty much unbreakable.

With the MVP2 I switch between an iClear 30 and a Kayfun Lite Plus clone, both of which are great.

Next purchases are likely to be an Aerotank and a Nautilus.

I'm still quite new to this however so feel free to take my recommendations with a pinch of salt :)

For a topper, I recommend glass over any plastic clearo. Mini Protank II or III, Aspire BDC ETS, Protank II or III, Aerotank, Aspire Nautilus...

For a mod in the Vamo's price range, the only one I've used it the MVP 2. I would recommend them to anyone, even with my Provari Mini sitting right next to me. The MVP 2 is a great device, and pretty tough too. Mine has fallen down subway stairs and survived. The vape is consistent and if you forget to charge it for a couple of days you're still pretty good unless you use it to charge another device.

Ask a "what's the best..." question and every answer you get will be different. I'll simply suggest something simple and less expensive. The iTaste vv3 and the MVP are very popular as of late and are both quite good for a low price. The Vamo has been around and many people like them, but they also require separate batteries (the vv3 and MVP are their own batteries), so you need to factor that in to your cost calculation. As far as toppers go, depending on your budget, glass will give you more protection from tank-cracking liquids, but tend to be a little more expensive and have the danger of breaking if you drop them. Top vs. bottom coil is a personal preference and single vs. dual coil is a subject of many debates... but single coils tend to be a less expensive. I can't comment on rebuilding as I have not yet reached that level of confidence in my vaping abilities....

Some people look at vaping as a hobby and focus on the gear, some just want to blow some smoke whatever way is easiest, some want to "look good" while just blowing smoke, some want to blow huge clouds of vapor, some want to do God knows what. Decide what you want out of vaping.

I want to "look good" and I don't think the square boxes, like the itaste MVP, look good so, for me i prefer different things. However, the MVP is easy. Just plug it in to recharge, adjust the power if you want, it will tell you when the battery needs to be recharged, it even counts the puffs so you can I don't know what. One of them and a simple vaporizer, with replaceable coils is fine.

If you like a round mod there are a bunch in two main groups. The first group is regulated, like the vamo. It takes care of everything for you, like the MVP. The major difference is with the battery & charger. The MVP has a built in battery and you charge it just like a cell phone. The round mods take lithium ion batteries and require a charger so add that cost in. If you are out about and run out of charge with the MVP it will not work, you can use it while you have it plugged in for recharging. With the vamo if you have a spare battery with you just change the battery and cary on.

Mechanical mods, like a nemesis, are just a battery holder with an on/off switch. With them you can run to battery too far down, not good for the battery, run it with too low a resistance, not good for you, or anything else you want, like use a sub ohm coil you built to get clouds of vapor.

iclear makes a bunch of 30's (one of them the 30s), They are all close to each other in the way they look but differ in the type of coil. some are top coils and some are bottom coils. (Top coil atomizers have the coil, the part that gets hot and converts the liquid to vapor, on the top and bottom coil atomizers have the coil on the bottom. Top coils use wicks to get the juice up and they can get dry. Bottom coils can flood. Dual coils have two coils and may produce more vapor, are newer designs, are a great advertising feature, and I am not sure what else.

I like the nautilus because it holds a HUGE amount of liquid and the amount of air is adjustable.

No matter what you get it will probably work. YOU need to think about way you want from your equipment. If possible try some gear from other people. Almost every vaper will have a different setup that they think is BEST and it may well be best for them. What you want is the setup that is BEST for you.

Good luck and vape on.

One thing I almost forgot. Some juices, cinnamon for example, will crack a plastic tank, like most of the iclears, and dropping will crack most of the glass tanks, like the nautilus.

I would suggest looking at mods with variable wattage, a bit more user friendly imho, as you can use the same wattage over a variety of resistances/ohms in your atty.

I use the protank 2 and love it, though some swear by cartomizers, it boils down to personal pref. Luckily cartos can be picked up cheaply if you wish to try them. I do use a tank carto for my cheaper juices. I find I get better hits and taste from my protank 2, and the attomizers are easy to replace. I am going to try the kanger aero next

ok i think my final decision for my next setup will be an MVP 2 and a aspire nautulis tank

Sounds good.

Due to a couple recent posts I want to caution that there are counterfeit products out there. Theres a recent thread here on ecf of somebody who bought 2 nautilus tanks but when he checked the security scratch off codes on them they were identical! Then when he went to the website to enter them, those codes were already used.

==edit==phone rang===

so... er, yeah, so that case it was a walk in store he bought them at so he was able to get something done with it, but if it were an online store.....
