So I just recently got a 510 starter kit, being a first time vaper I had high hopes and for the most part I wasn't disappointed.
I liked vaping, and I liked the taste of the RY4 but I was left wanting more power, more vapour, more heat and less refilling, tried cartimizers and there was definite improvement but I WANT MORE.......MORE!!

So I am thinking- 510 compatible eGo passthru batt and a clearamizer type tank under 3ml.
Canvape looks to be the best deal so I will be buying from there, but I am stumbling in the dark a little and would like to avoid purchasing incompatible hardware or forgetting a critical component.

So far the build looks like this

eGo 1100mAh Pass Through Battery Black or Stainless
V510 Vision 1.2ml Long Life Clearomizer (needle req?)
Ego Cone/Atomizer Cover Black or Stainless
Total-about 30 bucks net

Thoughts, suggestions?, looking for a thick, warm vape with minimal mess and effort.

Also, I find my RY4 to have a gentle tobacco flavor with a strong "maple syrup" main flavor. I like it, but it gets too sweet after a while, kinda like eating pancakes for breakfast lunch and dinner, I would like a recommendation on what direction to go based on you own experiences.

Thanks in advance for all responses:)

You don't absolutely need a need to fill the V510s with a needle but it's more precise. I tried one and wasn't a huge fan. It was just okay in my opinion. I have the eGo LCD 1100mah and so does my boyfriend, we really like them and even with other mods we often use them. My neighbour uses the eGo Pass thru, though she actually hasn't got to use the pass thru feature yet because they forgot the USB cord in the order :( We don't have cones, they do look better though and add a bit of strength. Have you tried tanks? I loved cartomizers and like you, wanted more. Since I got my tank, I haven't used a plain carto by itself. A bottomfed device is something else to look at if you don't mind a bit of a learning curve. You can carry anywhere from 3-6ml usually in those and if you have a tank too then really you can carry anywhere from 3-6ml on top of that! LOL

Anyways, in my experience, clearomizers will not provide you with a minimal mess and effort vape. When they work, they're great! But when they don't, they're terribly irritating and annoying. They're finicky. If you want to try a clearomizer I suggest you wait til Canvape has the eGo Stardusts in. They're supposed to have fixed the issues that other clearomizers have.

There are all different types of RY4 as well. Some are very sweet, some are very tobacco'ey, etc. It's a whole new adventure just trying different RY4s! :p

Never tried a tank before, only been vaping for a couple days, but I definitely know for sure that I will need something with thick warm vapor for those crappy times when life gets frustrating, my biggest concern with a tank is leaking and output, I am a mechanically inclined person so getting a little technical wouldn't be out of the question.

What about a Boge revolution 2.1?, they have a kit for 50 bucks shipped.

Bf and I both just got the Boge Revolution 2.2 used on the classifieds here, $60 for both with chargers and lightly used. We love them. I know there were issues with the 2.1 version but they were corrected in the 2.2 revision. I suggest if you can find the 2.2 in the classifieds to scoop it up! We're using the Submarine tanks from Mom & Pop Vapor Shop, they're a US supplier but great prices and shipping cheaper than in Canada. They're also our favourite juice vendor. Anyways, we both have 1 mini submarine tank with the Boge 2.0 carto (this was our preferred carto anyway so worked out perfectly). Neither of us have had any leaking at all. In fact, we've been vaping quite heavily on these tanks for the last 4-5 days since we got them and haven't had one issue at all. I really like that they have a thumb screw on the side. I tried to use it with Revo but the juice just leaks out the carto, so now what I do is just keep the Revo's bottle full with the juice in my tank and when I need a top off, I just pull the bottle out and take out the thumb screw, fill 'er up and pop it back on there. It's the easiest and beast vaping system I've found yet TBH and I've tried quite a range of things.
