Help!! Almost went back to cigs after 9 days non smoking grrrrrr

Just thought id vent off a little steam, beyond frustrated at the moment:-(
Got my kit 9 days ago, opted for gs-sub which for me has been working brilliantly, hears were the probs begin.....
Had a MAP tank and a couple of ce2's left from when i tryed vaping many moons ago, remember them being ok but iv after 1 tank BOTH have stopped wicking, cant get a hit off them and generally are just crap (tryed cleaning, dry burn etc, primed, work for a minute then nothing again) that was my first headache
Second, bought some dual carto tanks from tw and a spare carto just incase, managed to get one out the 3 working with some menthol i got that i just wanted to use everynow and then (iv now been forced to use this permanantly and to be fair, its drivin me nuts). The other 2 i tryed with my ry5 and 4 which i love, nothing, slightbit of vapor, feels like its not hitting the coils at all.
Iv just ordered a vivi nova to see if that if that can do the business so i can carry on vaping, when it works, its great, but im spending mkre time fiddling than i am vaping at the min
Juice im using is bm2 ry5 dekang and 100% vg ry4 which iv thin alittle with distilled water cause i figured it could be to thick.
Anyways, sorry for the rant, is this everyones experience when starting out
or am i just unlucky?
Also is the vivi nova good?

I just got a few vivi nova's yesterday and a few stardust too.
I also got a eGoT
I put the stardust on the T and went to work, it worked great and still is working great.
When I got home I put the nova on the T and that is working great too.
I know it's only been a day but I like both.
Been looking at getting into rebuilding the atomizers for the nova when they go bad, looks like fun and a way to make the work even better.

I think a lot of these devices require some fiddling, some more than others.
Clearos seem to be more fiddly than cartos. It's what you want and what you are willing to deal with.
Clearos you can see your juice level, but in general more prone to fiddling.
Cartos are good in tanks and you can get a feel for juice level. They also seem to give a more consistent vape, but clearos are improving in this department lately.
You are a adult, so if you want a smoke, go have one. We all must get our nicotine somehow.
Once you get a good batt; a good vapor delivering device and good nic juice things get better.
I started out with a VVPV/Carto tanked and 36mg nic juice, but also needed juice with WTA to help kick those cravings.
I hope you get everything sorted out and make sure you have backups for backups.

Got Halo - Captain Jack - I like it and it's getting better with age.
Gotvaps - Flux Nectar Butterscotch Blast Bacco - I'm a butterscotch junkie. This is what I'm using right now.
DeejStuff- got a lot of small samples from them. So far I have only tried the caramel apple and I like that too.
I did mix in a little brandy flavor with it on the second fill and like that too. LOL

I like the vivi nova a lot. I would suggest filling it and leaving it on it's side for an hour first though.

An hour isn't necessary with a Vivi Nova. I'll give mine a couple of minutes and swoosh the liquid around a bit during that time and they're ready to go.
