Hello all,
I just registered today, but I've been reading a lot this forum to get proper information and education, and now I come here to ask away and get some advice.
A little background: I'm not a smoker per se, but I did smoke for a little while and not regularly started at 23 (and actually never "learned" since I was never able to inhale the smoke into the lungs, which might be no issue with vaping as I've read) and now I'm 29, and it was very rare for me to smoke and it was very little, yet there were (and are) times where I have a crave to do so so in order to avoid all the harm and heavy chemicals with cigarettes I started to look at ecigs.
So I read, investigated and tried to get a sense on what was better (I know it's all preference in the end) which made me go ahead and order a VaporZeus from V4L, but since I'm in Mexico it took a lot for it to arrive, so I bought an eGo at a local mall to start it was ok, yet I had a burnt taste and leaking constantly (I believe the clearomizer was a CE4) and the battery had nothing special except LED's that show how much of the battery is left (a cheap embedded battery meter with 4 bars) and I believe it's a Chinese clone from a Joyetech then my VaporZeus arrived and it was awesome, looks good, vapes ok, it's a good device.
But now that I'm starting into the vaping culture, I wanted to go to the major leagues (I'm still a noob), so I've been reading and looking and getting informed and that's why I've come to you for help
I'm tech savvy and love all things technology, and also have an admiration for excellent design and ease of use.
Having said that I would like to know your opinion on what APV device would be best for me.
Basically I want something that gives me great flavor, great vapor, looks really good, lasts a long (both battery and device durability over the years) and it's easy to use. I don't know ohms law (remember I saw it on school long ago, never used it and forgot it) yet I know I could learn it with ease, but I'm more of a practical guy and would prefer to just go ahead without fiddling much.
Would you recommend me a mech mod or a regulated mod? If so, which one?
And what atomizer/clearomizer/tank would be the best for me?
Also, would you recommend me to actually go ahead and experiment, fiddle and build/rebuild instead of going the "pre-built" way? And why? I can do it, and if advised I can, I just like ease of use and be more practical.
As an additional note, I'm kind of a sweet tooth guy and I've been vaping chocolate flavors and coffee flavors (I love coffee as well), so far the chocolate flavors have been very bad, no chocolatey at all, and coffee has been good.
Thanks in advance for your help and time.
