I think I know the answer to this but my atomizer wont heat up. I thought perhaps I just needed a fresh battery but aftet putting a new battery on it still wont heat up. Is it dead? Please say no! I don't
have a spare. I tried to order one the other day but they were out of stock and they are supposed to e-mail me when they're available. This is for the RN-4081

First - get some back-up attys, no matter what kind of e-cig it is.

The best way to check the atty is with a volt meter. If you have 2 to 5 ohms on the atty, it's still good, and maybe just dried out.

Atomizers have to stay wet to work right. If you don't have a meter, blow out the atty, and put a drop or two of liquid into it. You may have to puff for a while, but if it's good, it may come back.

Also, if you update your profile with your location, someone close by may be able to help you out.

wv2win, i was just curious about your last post...you suggest having 2 or more pvs.....is that diff kinds of pv or just 2 or more *complete* pvs? I have 3 *complete* 510s and some spare attys.....are you suggesting that i get a diff kind?....

If you want a different kind, that's your choice. If you don't have the money to spend, just keep enough 510 parts to keep you going.

Here's another little trick to try.
Sometimes that battery contact dosen't touch the atty contact. If you screw the battery into the charger too tight, it pushed the contact too far down. Use a paper clip or similar wire device. Put it into the center contact of the battery and GENTLY twist and move it upward. It's mounted on a rubber ring for insulation, and will sometimes slip down. Bring it up to the surface. Not too far up as to break the wire, and be very gentle. That center button has to touch the center button on the atomizer.

Some people recommend that you have at least two kinds of PVs in case there's a sudden shortage of spares for your preferred device at the supplier end. Seems like a good idea to me.

tlm22, I'm in Cleveland, OH and I have a spare RN4081 atty.
I saw 2 Genoa, Ohio locations on the mapquest map. 1 kinda close and 1 not so close at all.
Let me know.

Truemanecigs has RN4081 attys at $5.50 each and they sent my order out the next day via EMS shipping. (they even sent a pic of my order before it was packed)
Although this is my 1st order from them I normally get my stuff from bestecig via EMS in 4-5 days.

Manual 510, good prices Ruyan Direct. Be sure to order juices, spare batts/attys and such to offset shipping and to prevent being unprepared. They even have 10ml juices that allow you to sample a variety to figure out what type of vape suits you.

This is what I love to see. People helping out others. If he were in Houston, I'd get a couple of spare attys to him in a heartbeat. This is what makes this Forum great.
