Using kanger mini tank Rebuildable atomizer. Made two last night. .6 ohms, using 1.26 coil. organic cotton squares (not cotton balls) Yes, the cotton was primed with juice.
Running 12 to 14 watts, and 3 to 4 volts.
Both have gotten burned tasting by this morning. This is the 2nd time this has happened, without the watts or volts being changed, or accidently jumping up way high.

What could be the issue?

Could be a number of things, for one it could be a bad connection to the mod or the coil is not tight, either can be creating a resistance jump. If your mod is reading this jump up in resistance, it could be increasing the wattage to accommodate, thus burning the wick. Does your mod show your resistance fluxuating? If so try tightening coil or it could be a wonky connection to mod. Sometimes if it is the connection, and your mod is in wattage mode, and can be set to voltage mode, try voltage mode instead. It also can be to thick of a juice or not enough cotton thru coil. Another reason is way too much cotton or wick tails not in the correct spot , thus not soaking in juice

The wick did feel pretty dry, when he changed them out last night. Hasn't changed the way the wick is put in, so I don't know why this would just start suddenly happening

You running this in TC or VW modes......... I'm still stumped on the coil because 4wrap of 316SS on a 2mm ID is more like .25ohms. .6ohms would be about 11wraps or 22 wraps if a dual coil. Check for loose connections or coil shorting.

Wick could be both, too thick, choking coil off from juice, or too thin starving the coil. If you are using high VG juice it could be too thick for the wick to absorb fast enough. 20% is not high.
