Cotton burns after 3 fires

Hi,

I'm having a trouble with my tank since last night. I recoiled as always and put the cotton in, and after few fires it burned. Thought maybe I put too much cotton, changed to less cotton and same. Opened up the tank, washed it and dried it, recoiled and again same thing. I'm doing the same things that I always do for coil and wick, but since yesterday it just keeps burning after 3-4 fires. Anyone has any idea?

I used "vapor tech" 30 wire, 2.5 diameter, 4 rounds, and get 0.9 ohm resistance. "Cotton Bacon" cotton and my tank is Serpent mini and I fire at 14-15 watts. (This is what I always do, but this time it just keeps burning)

I appreciate if anyone can help

Thanks all

If its not a hotspot, could be a 510 pin connection issue. I have had this before where the tanks pin was adjusted too far out, thus depressing the mods pin in too far which caused some kind of issue. From this I was getting a power burst, which I could kind of hear a sizzle and an instant burn. From then on I just used that tank on a different mod and never had a problem. I think when that mods pin retracted too far it caused some kind of short into the coil. If you can adjust the tanks pin in slightly, it may help. Not sure if this is your issue as I only had it happen once, so it could of been a freakish issue for me
