HELP!! Battery on eGo's Not Shutting Off & Burning Out Atty's??!!!

This is so odd---and so frustrating! Two separate eGo kits, 2 different batt's (one regular, one 1000) and suddenly I realize that battery isn't shutting down and it fries the atty. But it doesn't stop there. From that point forward--on 2 separate batt's from 2 different kits, it then will NOT shut off when I put an atty on. The battery now has a burnt electrical smell.

WHY is this happening?? I cannot understand it! I even put the charger on a separate wall before the 2nd battery did this. I'm so screwed!!:ohmy::cry:

Damn.....I think that may be it, though the charger hasn't fried the other battery that is on it....I just don't get it. How could the charger fry two different batteries, but not the one I was just vaping on?

Yeah, and just went through hell (and $$$$) with the Boge Leo and lots of problems.

Thanks for trying to help me figure this out.

No problem at all!

The only thing I could suggest is a faulty charger. On rare occasions I have seen some defective chargers. It hasn't yet destroyed the other batteries. I would use a different charger ASAP and see if you can have the bad batteries replaced (If they are still covered under warranty).

I personally use a eGo and never had this problem. I charged my eGos dozens of times and they still work like champs.

I do remember seeing some of your posts regarding the issues with the Leo's... I guess you are done with the Leo's?

My wife and I both have been using eGos for nearly a year. Needless to say, we've been through quite a few batteries. They are hit and miss in my opinion. I've had some fail very quickly, while others lasted for several months. It's frustrating to lose batteries at $20 a pop. We just make sure and keep several spares because we never know when they will fail. I fried one today because I sat on it in my car - for how long I don't know. I just know it was very hot and it was fried.

I saw another post like this earlier today, the units were from Liberty Flights.Very strange. She said her batts just fried sitting there.

Oh! Don't say that! My kit is from them (about 3 weeks old) and so far, I'm loving it!I do need to get a spare batt or two though.
