I haven't been around the starter devices for a long time and so much has changed. I do know that my wife likes the Aspire BDCs, etc.. But even the newer protanks or evods would do.

Can I get some links on a package deal with a 2 batts (twist? dunno what else?), charger and tank/clearo with a pack of heads?

Here is a good deal on a starter kit. I got one for my backup and just ordered another one for my granddaughter who wants to start vaping. It is a good brand, Kanger, and comes with everything you need to get started except juice. If you enter the code ECF at checkout, it comes to about $30, and it's free shipping. This is a reliable company and shipped quickly. Here is a link:

Depends one what exactly you want from this starter kit, and how much changing and adding things you think will be done with it.

In my experience, a lot of the lower priced Ego style starter kits are also low quality. The batteries don't last, clearos leak, etc.. They work, but there are lots of complaints about them as well.

IF you're wanting a starter kit with the ability to select a lot of different clearomizers, cartomizers, and other stuff from lots of different manufacturers then I would suggest a Joytech Ego. They are one of the more expensive Egos out there, but that's because they are some of the best built Egos out there.

HOWEVER, if buying lots of accessories from different manufacturers isn't really a concern or desire, then what I would really recommend is a Halo Triton. It's by far the best basic Ego-styled ecig as far as quality and performance. Halo's own clearomizers are really excellent, beating most 3rd party clearos by miles, and it's also compatible with all of Halo's G6 stuff which are again, really high quality. Halo's batteries last longer for the same mAh rating than most Ego batteries, most people will get a full day or more out of a single 650 mAh where most Ego users will need 1000 mAh or more. Halo does have VV batteries for it as well.

Most Egos are 510 and EGO threaded. The Halo is 808D and VGO threaded. There are 808D to 510 adapters that will let you use the 510 threaded devices on the Halo battery.

So, if you want lots of optional stuff, get the excellent Joytech Ego.
If you want the best built Ego styled ecig at the expense of some options, get the Halo Triton.

That is actually what I recommend for the new Vaper. EVOD clearos and 3.7 V regulated batteries are wonderful (I use both a lot, and I have lots of MODs I could use).

DV has a similar kit for about $46, so that link is to a good deal.

I agree this is a good starter kit. I wish I would've started with something like this instead of my totally wicked kit.

Yep, this is a great starter kit--EVODs perform well, resist leaking, kit's price is reasonable, batteries have decent life, and the assemble ecigs aren't too big. This is pretty much the kit I had to piece together myself after goofing off with Blu and other cig-a-likes and being repeatedly disappointed.
