I've had my russian 91 for a few weeks. I've had a 1.6 ohm coil on it working for a while. I can't seem to get good flavor, if anything it's pretty bland.

Sometime's it tastes good some time's it doesnt. Anyone have any tips?

It's a micro coil with 9 wraps on a 5/64 bit.

Almost everyone says the flavor is killer but I'm not seeing it.

Based on my experience, chimney coils gave the best flavor. Horizontals never did much for me. 28g - 1/16" mandrel - 8 or 9 wraps (somewhere around 1.3ohms- don't have my notes on me).

I'll give one a try. Any tips on wicking? I think that's the issue. I'm trying not to use a lot. I'm trimming it to the sides of the deck.
