Hey, so for the life of me I can't figure this out.
All I did was refill my kanger tank and now I'm just getting gross burnt taste. It was perfectly fine before. I just changed my .5 kanger coil yesterday -so it's new (I'm still new :/ so I don't know the appropriate name for it).
Anyway, like I said I just filled the tank... same coil, wick, juice, everything... working great up until I refilled.
I tried re-priming the coils and everything. I tried lower wattage. I don't know what else to try... and I'm open to suggestions.

The only times I experienced that taste was when the cotton wick was burned! Even with a new coil after taking quick successive hits on a Kanthal wire. I disassembled the nautilus commercial coil and here it was, a burned cotton... Even in TC with Ni coils when I set the temperature too high. I use Rayon for wick and Ti coil builds on a Kayfun now. Rayon is much more heat resistant than cotton. So even if you're running a new coil, if the cotton is burned the taste will stay no matter what but may fade over time.

Well it didn't look burnt, but I had a spare coil on hand. So, I changed it out and now it's fine. Simple fix, I just really didn't want to use it because I just changed it :/. Thanks for the quick response! Easy fix.
And I'll keep an eye for not overfilling it.

I am not quite sure if it was the burnt cotton or burnt juice on the coil, but I remember that the taste was fading away when I turned the voltage or the temp down. Glad that you figured it out.
