Burnt taste.

I got a slight burnt taste from an Evod tank. Since this is usually the signal that the juice is nearly gone I immediately refilled the tank. Still got the burnt taste, even a little worse. So I installed a fresh coil, priming it with a drop of juice. Still got the burnt taste. Waited a while and tried again. Same thing. Do I need to dump () and clean the tank and again replace the coil? This has never happened to me before.

I've never had that problem after changing the coil.

The burnt taste is most likely due to having to much power going to the atomizer. Lower your volts or watts to a much lower and then step the power back up slowly.

The thing about the burnt taste is that it all needs cleaned. The juice is toasted.

What Mod are you using??

Not a tinkerer. It's a 650 mAh Evod batt. I'm getting the same thing when I put the tank on my MVP2, turned all the way down. Must be the tank. I'll try a good scrub and airing overnight.

A burnt taste can stay in the air tube flush it out real well. It can stick around and I find sometimes i have to wash those with dish soap down the mouthpiece air tube and chimney part if you reuse that too. since I can't stand dish soap I use mouth wash to freshen the vapor tube. .. - it works.

^^ the burnt taste does linger, especially on silica/cotton based setups. All though i cba to wash anything so i just puff without inhaling for a few minutes and its gone.

Thanks for all your help. All better now after a good scrub, overnight on a drying rack on the window sill and another fresh coil. There was that awful moment while I watched that juice run down the drain . . .
