Santa was super nice to me this year and I got a lovely shiny gold Vamo... Unfortunately my experience of vaping so far is a clearomizer and Ego-T, I am struggling to see the point of the vamo?

The problem I am having is that if I raise the vv or vw at all I just get a horrible burnt taste from my vivi nova or my clearomizers. I'm wondering if I need a different tank???

The Vamo did come with loads of other stuff that's beyond me, a lovely gold tank that I have to fill with allumium mesh and bits of wire etc after scouring youtube I really can not see me doing that in a million years. I also got a direct dripping atomizer (shiny gold too!) but I don't know what to do with it?? do I just screw it onto the vamo and drip? Its a BiM??

It's a shame because hubby obviously went to alot of trouble to get me a nice kit and I'm just using it as a glorified Ego. Any suggestions for alternative tanks or methods I should be using...

As an after thought, why doesn't anything come with instructions?? when you buy a toaster the instructions are heavier than the flipping machine :)

Thanks in advance and I hope you're having a great Christmas break!

BBxxx

I hope the screen you have is not alumium and its stainless steel, alumium is toxic.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

It was on the No 1 mode and there was an immediate improvement once I changed it! As advised I stuck with playing with it in the VW and with a bit of patience I am starting to get the hang of it :) Though it still seems too powerful for my Vivi Nova's.

I have ordered a couple of dual coil tanks to play with, and I feeling optomistic today so I might have a go at the rebuildable Genesis thingy (i've found a couple of youtube help pages) Eeeeek wish me luck!

Thank you again!

Great... Thanks for the link HeavyRocker!

Well I had a go and followed the above link it's taken a couple of attempts (and it's Rum O'Clock) so I'm gonna give in for today. The closest I have got to getting it working is a Lo Ohm notice from my Vamo. I'm not sure why yet , perhaps I should have more coils? I stuck at 4 wraps.

Any how much to my surprise I'm really enjoying playing around with it all... between the frustrated sobbing and maniacal ranting :). Thanks again for great help!

This has been my experience, too. The vamo should be in RMS mode. With vivi novas, I set it at about 7.5 watts. I'd rather use a carto tank, though, and use 8 or 8.5 watts for most juices.

See, this is where individual taste comes in. Every juice starts to taste scorched to me when the wattage climbs above 7.0. For most juices, I'm leaving the setting at 5.5 or 6.0.

True. We all have our own preferences when it comes to vaping. I think that's one of the reasons I find it so enjoyable. Endless options.
