Pretty tip. I have 3 SS ones, but just the plain kind. The first time I ordered, only one hole was available, then when I ordered again, only two holes were. I honestly haven't noticed a difference. With juice at 80% pg, I doubt you will either. Dual coils I can't tell you about, other than some people like them and some don't. I've heard that they go though a lot of juice and battery power, so I've never tried them.

Ahhh, I found this to explain dual coil vs single coil: Dual Coil Vs. Single Coil Cartomizers - YouTube

ETA: Notice the voltage he's running the dual at.

Newbie questions - I'm trying a tank for the first time. 2.0 cartos . I burnt out the first carto, in spite of priming it with juice, after about 10 - 15 vapes. Seems like it wasn't feeding from the tank?

Now trying again and looking closely, after each vape, I see a small air bubble from the carto hole - is this as expected?

This is with a 50/50 juice.

Edited to add - from the Rip Trippers video, he's say he's running at 5 - 6 volts - I'm getting good results (I think) at 3.3 volts from a Vmax - does this sound right? (Please, no disrespect to Provari)

Bubbles are good. That means your tank is feeding the carto. 3.3 seems low, but if you like it then have at it!

I added the comment about the 5v, because (for me) I thought he was running it high. I use single coil cartos at 2.0Ω or less. My sweet spot rarely goes over 4v. Like gavind4 said, bubbles are good, it means you've got liquid moving, but I'm just wondering if at 50/50 you might need more (or bigger) punch holes. I get prepunched Smoktech cartos for one of my tanks (either 1 or 2 holes, depending on what's in stock) and the holes are tiny, like pin holes. I used 70pg/30vg or 80pg/20vg, so it's thin. 50 vg might be too think for a tiny hole. :2c:

That's a good point. I'm trying the Smok DCT-2, which are 2 ohm, single (tiny) hole and it seems to be doing ok. The draw, or pull feels a bit heavy, regardless of how loose or tight it is on the battery, so perhaps another, or bigger punch might help with this. I tried going to 3.5 volts with no appreciable change in taste.
