Ouch! If it feels like it's seized... rotate the thing around at eye level and see if you can detect any angle going on there. Anything that indicates the atomizer is now in the 510 connector at an angle. If things look slightly crooked when you rotate - yep, it hit with enough force to seize the atomizer threads into the 510 connector. Not knowing exactly what atomizer you have on there - you aren't talking about a glass ProTank are you? - trying giving the atomizer end of things some slight taps against a hard surface to see if you can get the seized threads to release. Expect connections to the battery to be a little sloppy from now on, depending on how much the drop mashed the edges of the threading.

Hey! I dropped my ego batt/atomizer. I guess it landed at an angle atomizer down, now I can't get them apart. Threads must have been damaged. Are either of these pieces salvageable? How do I get them apart? Thanks!

Yikes... Do you have a Back-Up or is this your Only Set-Up?

Because if you have a Back-Up you can be More Aggressing trying to separate the Two.

Thanks for replies! It is not my only setup, but I'd hate to lose them anyway. It's a standard LR 510 atomizer on a large manual ego battery. It does appear that the atomizer is sitting in at an angle. Booo! Will freezing it cause damage to the battery?

I'd Skip the Freezer. Batteries Don't Like Cold Temperatures.

I'm wrap the Battery in Tape and then Break Out the Handyman's Fix All.

Don't Grab the Battery with the Pliers if you Don't have to. The Tape is Only to give you Better Grip on the Batter so it Doesn't Turn when you Twist the Atty with the Channel Locks.
