Here is a picture, I saturated them evenly, they both have alot of open air hole right close by, and one smoked dry and burnt, the other is still wet and looks like its not heating but it is, they turnt orange even, inside out...I'm confused, igo w3
Make sure when you wicked it you didn't pop a leg, or loosen a screw. With a loose screw it might be moving and touching off and on. Just check your screws and your legs. That's the first two thugs I do if I'm having issues. Also are they identical builds?
Okee, before work this morning I just broke down and took the still saturated coil out (since it didn't seem like it was working) and then when I replaced it, instead of putting the second coil thru the same hole in the middle post I wrapped it around the screws on the top of the post, and voila works like a charm!
Could the wires touching in the same post have been an issue?
As long as they are only touching under that screw there shouldn't be a problem. They will short out if they touch anywhere else. The IGO W3 is a pain to build, very tedious...
I've got a W3 on the way, figured I was headed for some headaches. I don't mind spending some decent time to get it just right for that perfect vape though.
Yea, its not really understandable why these don't come with a small piece of paper, with instructions on how to coil...I don't believe they were touching anywhere except inside the screw...
