Hey all,

Looking for some help on whats out there regarding drip tips - style means nothing to me - wanting to know about function

for example I see this really long drip tip. Is this to cool the vapor and to provide a harder draw ? What will a wide bore drip tip do are just some of the questions -

I get the easy stuff - for ex. "metal" - looks nice, lasts long time, may be tough on teeth

But I see so so many just curious what is trending and if anyone can give me a sixty second education on some of the basic ones out there

I know a lot of this stuff just has to be tried for ones self - but any tips tricks, gotta try's hit me up/post

Materials build and shape are personal preferences. Some people don't like the feel (or taste) of metal tips. For others metal is the only material that they will use.

I personally like the feel of either pyrex or Tru-stone tips on my lips. These do not transfer the heat of an atomizer like metal may. I also prefer the appearance of pyrex and Tru-stone over metal.

The further the distance of the coil to your lips will allow the vapor time to cool. Something like Vape Labs' Popeye tip or Pink Spot Vapor's Freudian tip is an example.

Wide bore tips allow for less draw resistance for lung inhales with rba's.

For a website that has high end tips in metal, acrylic, Tru-stone, wood, carbon fiber, etc check out Drip Tip Designz.

I like the more standard styles. The vases and straight tips. Nothing crazy for me. As for material, metal mostly (I have a couple little doohickys that go between the tip and atty/tank/whatever that really helps with the heat transfer), or glass. Never tried ceramic and I won't put acrylic in my mouth (that stuff is beyond toxic when it breaks down, and can't be cleaned well).

They can also be works of art. All you really need is one, or one for each atty, but most of the vape stands I have seen have extra holes to display your drip tip collection.

I thought I did not like metal, I don't, so I went to fastech and ordered one of every type I could find. Now I know that I don't want an expensive metal one but would like something nice in glass or ceramic.
