I tried to get my father in law into vaping last summer and got him some egos and a fer ce4s and kanger evods.

he systematically overs-crewed everything, had leaking issues, ruined 2 batteries and 2 chargers but managed to cut back to half a pack while vaping until he gave up and wasn't interested anymore...
so yesterday he told me he wants to give it another try but wants something totally hassle free and simple

I'm thinking of getting him an eRoll kit and some flavorless nic so the heads would last him longer... I think the form factor will play a good part on his transition and the pcc will get him throughout the day

is the eRoll a good choice for him or is there another cig a like that's more powerful, convenient and easier to use???

If I go with it what should I get him so he doesn't need to restock on parts for a while?

I have the enroll... if he won't mind carrying around a small bottle to refill the tanks frequently its a decent option. The other cons are the fact that there's no place for the second batt in the pcc . Batt lasts about 20 straight min. But the pcc takes care of that. Also if you hold it with 2 fingers like a cig, you'll cover the air hole and get no draw.

I would go with a volt or smoov and do per filled cartos until he's ready to advance to something more complex.

With the Eroll (I use one) you need to have extra tanks you carry with you in a case. And when each one empties you need to let them air out so it's best to empty all the tanks before refilling any of them so they get that time. If you don't like them air out they build up condensation & it will seem like the device is leaking all the time if this happens.

HST, I really like my eroll. I carry tanks in a little tin & when I change one out & throw the old tank in the tin & just leave it. When I'm down to my last one I refill them all & clean out the tin (it can get messy). The atties last a pretty long time with good maintenance. But using a lighter liquid will definitely help with making them last longer.

I really like the Kanger eSmart 510, smaller than an ego, a little bigger than a cig-a-like. The clearos are really simple to fill, take off the top mouthpiece, fill down the side, recap, and you're done. You can even dry-burn them to make them last a little longer...

I have the eroll, and have never 'aired out' the tanks, no problem and I'm still on the same ones that are at least six months old. If you get the eroll case, it has room for the pcc and an extra eroll, so you can charge one, use one and then swap them round, to last a full day pretty much. You do need to carry either a refill bottle or several pre filled tanks to last the day though. They are also an auto battery which is nice if you are looking for a more 'cigarette-like' experience.
I also have the ecab, which is the same size as the esmart and find that very good as well, less refills as the tanks are a bit larger. It is not quite as small as the eroll, but not as big as an ego in diameter.
I feel that either of these is a good choice and both give good vapour and flavour for me.

I would get him the Ecab it is the same principal but larger tank and I think battery which is easy to charge one stays on the charge and the other in the unit ..win win and it works..My wife only uses the Eroll and Ecab for ease and use..I tried to get her over to the kayfuns and provari type tube setups but no go..oh well more for me lol ...so i bought her a lot of eroll and ecab stuff so she is happy...
