With the carto off the battery, put some ejuice in one of the condoms, gently and slowly push the battery end of the carto into the juice. Depending on how much you put in the condom, you might have to do this twice. Drip a few drops of ejuice into the top of the carto. You want it to look slushy. Wait a few minutes to see if you need to add more juice into the top. Take a kleenex and hold it at the battery end and gently blow thru the top end. You are trying to blow out any juice that got in the middle hole. Wipe off the carto and the battery end. Once you have done that, screw it on the battery and put on your drip tip. Take a long slow pull, instead of the quick hard ones you used on a cig. It should be working perfectly now. If you notice a drop in flavor or less vapor, put a few more drops in the top of the carto.

There are also several other methods of filling and you can search YT for them.

I can't help with that. All of my PVs turn off differently. When you push the button and pull on the PV, does the button stay lit while you are holding it down? If yes, it's working. Did you charge your batteries before using? Did it come with any sort of manual?

Others have used the 3 click button and will be by shortly for more help.

I just bought my mother the same one Friday...congrads and enjoy. I'm two weeks in and loving it!!!!! I was really frustrated the night I got mine. No instructions and I was scared I was going to do something wrong, but 2 days later...I was vaping like a champ. Mine doesn't have the 3 click feature, but i'll have to figure it out for my mom. ENJOY!!!!

yes its charged and sometimes it will stay lit others itll just go out right away, it did not come with a manual, at least i don't see one Iv'e checked at least 4 times lol

Here is a link to the .pdf manual at Liberty Flights http://www.liberty-flights.com/documents/manuals/riva.pdf

I agree with dearme that if you are getting blinking lights and it isn't firing, there is bad contact. If cleaning doesn't help, try wiggling the center post of the battery up a little with a toothpick so that it can make better contact.

Blinking light when trying to use the battery can also mean you got liquid in the threads - run a soft bit of tissue around the valley between the center post and threads and also to wipe the center post top.

And when charging or attaching a carto never screw things on as far as possible or you could depress the center post and damage the battery. Only screw things on just far enough to connect and work.

And BTW I did not read the whole thread. I don't know what PG/VG you got but I find most cartos work best with thin (mostly PG) clear liquids.

thanks for the manual, i tested it and it works good but it tastes horrible, any tips on how to fix this? or is it just me?
How does it taste horrible? Describe it.
It could be you just don't like the juice, or the juice hasn't steeped long enough for the flavors to meld together. When you filled the carto, did you let it sit for a few minutes to let the juice soak into the wick?

You may not have put in enough juice and you're getting dry hits, but if it is producing a good amount of vapor but still tastes awful, you may have scorched the filling in your carto. If the filling is scorched, it's pretty much a goner. Try another one and make sure the filler is really soaked with juice. With cartos, you have to be careful not to burn them dry. Make sure they're well filled and top off a lot.
