Pick up a cig-a-like a a liquor/convenience store - I have even found them at supermarkets. They are a pricey, and often don't taste super great, but are enough (at least for me) to get me through cravings in a pinch, since they are so close to analog cigarettes. Also go with the highest nic level they have (it's generally about 18mgs). I keep a couple of Green Smoke Living around all the time.

Well, tell us more about your vaping. Also, why did you decide to quit smoking?

What hardware are you using? It is a "good vape"? Are you getting enough nic to stop the cravings?

Some people really crave the WTA stuff too. It's not just the nic. It usually passes in a few weeks. However, 90 days is a long time. Do you think it's psychological cravings or dependance/addiction cravings? You have to guess....you may not be able to tell for sure. What about smoking is attracting you?

I am having the same problem, but am vaping from a 2 piece kit. Have smoked like 4 packs in 3 weeks. And they do taste bad when you go back to them, but they do take away your cravings. Try vaping a higher nicotine content. I have been vaping 18mg and craving pretty bad, so im going to bump it up to 24 for a while, then steadily drop it over time till I get to 0.

Sometimes, especially when I see someone smoking on tv, I get the urge to light one up. However, when I'm near someone who is smoking, I have to move away from them. I can't stand the smell, anymore. I think it's the psychological urge to smoke that you are experiencing. You smoked for many years and it's not easy to just give that up. E-cigs do help a great deal, but some of us just have to remind ourselves that smoking is in our past and that it's a smelly, awful habit.

Also, like what has been said, you may want to increase the nicotine level of your e-cig.

Have one and you will realize it's not as great as your mind remembers. Then go right back to the ecig. The longer you vape the worse they taste. Just about everyone has the urge for one after they start vaping. Hang in there it will get better.
I agree with this. It won't be a crime to have an occassional cigarette. And they will begin to taste bad as long as you continue to get most of your nicotine from vaping and limit the cigs to a couple a day.

It's also pretty important to find a good juice flavor or two that you truly enjoy using. Look over the juice forums here to get ideas of what you may like to try. Order sampler packs or small trial sizes to save money until you find some flavors that you like enough to order again in a larger size. Many people find that they will enjoy certain classes or niches of flavors. Tobacco, menthol, fruit, candy, coffee, deserts, etc. You won't know whether you will like these unless you try them.

Hang in there and don't ever give up. Some people find it easier than others to quit via vaping. You don't say what device you are using. I can tell you one thing, the more an e-cigarette looks like a cigarette, the worse it will work. By the same token, the bigger the battery, the better the vape. If you are using a cig-alike battery, you'll probably have better success with an ego or big battery mod device.

I agree with above and maybe a bit bigger battery for more power also. I don't think a few cigs will get you started completely again. Lots on here have smoked an occasional one. I had one every so often for the first 4 months just to see if I really wanted to go back to that mess, but no my ecig is too much better. It also helps to find a juice you love.

Unfortunately is my case too. For the past month I've been having good and bad days. Don't push it, but try not to stop searching. If today you want to smoke do it, but try less. Instead of a cigarette try to vape. It takes a while but the bad thing about ecigs soon goes away and you'll be vaping primarily.

Another thing that might help is move onto a higher quality vape. I dont know anything about intellicig but I am smoking on the v2cigs and they are one of the top 2 piece places. Still not enough to keep me from buying regular cigs. Volt is supposed to be top notch, if you want to keep vaping and not actually quit over the course of time then you might want to invest in an eGo kit of some kind.

This is my first post so take it with a grain of salt but I've been experimenting with ecigs for a couple months now so I feel the pain and would like to help.

Though I agree with klynnn, hang in there if you've quit for 99 days! The longer I go between analog cigarettes the more terrible they taste and the less I want to do it again.

The biggest difference for me was researching hardware, tasteyourjuice.com has great reviews and a recommendations section. Increasing the throat hit, juice taste and airflow might do the trick. I just upgraded to a vivi nova v2.5 mini from an ego tank system and before that a "Blu" the vivi nova made the airflow not seem like vaping through a straw. Also, from what I hear most people prefer vaping around 8-10 watts (volts of the battery squared divided by ohms of the resister) I'll have to wait and see until my variable voltage battery arrives. Finding the right flavors and strength also made a big difference for me, rawrrawrvapor has treated me well for e-juice, as a menthol smoker I like that I can customize the amount of menthol added.

I've been analog free since April. My wife and I both quit with the help of prescription stuff. I had Welbutrin and she had Chantix. That helped us a lot. I still struggle with cravings myself. My wife thinks I am nuts and obsessed with my e-cigs. I will admit it has became a hobby and maybe I do a little much reading and research on it. But to the point, short and sweet is stay with the eGo style batteries to start (They last longer than the cig sized ones). I recommend a carto or tank. then the trick of finding the right eliquid. That was the toughest for me. I did find on Madvapes some Hangsen menthol the fit the bill. Now I mix my own. Lots of tips and tricks on here plus some awesome peoples that have some really good advice.

AttyPops I use Intellicig 10mg regular, I think it's psychological cravings, I have been extremely depressed since quitting, I am starting to believe that my mood will be better if I smoke, but at the same time I don't want to light up that one cigarette that will surly get me back to smoking.

1) I agree with wv2win and others... insufficient vaping device/liquid = frustration.
2) Try to get better juice and/or e-cig if you can. If, after trying that, it doesn't work...research WTA e-juice if you think you really need the tobacco alkaloids. But it may just be that you're not getting the nic.

Best guesses and :2c:
