Hi Folks, I've been vaping for about 5 weeks now, loving it. Using 901's and Nicoboxes. I got a load of 901 high bridge atty and killed'em all! Do 901's just suck? Should i be using 501's or something? I'm going to order some mods and need to get my atomizer thing together. The 901's in question were from Heaven Gifts. Help! Note that these 10 901's died in about 2 weeks-

Yeah man... If you have a highbridge.. haven't ordered from heaven myself... but HV juice does kill quick.. If your using HV with that... cut it with extra PG/VG... or even a little more doubler for flavor .. or something... heck... bacardi 151... that a laugh man... use vodka or something lighter... don't go for the 151..( like a bad trip man).
If you had ten out that quick.. It kinna does tell me that maybe you got a bad batch.. but I did hear that the heavier juice on that high bridge .. for some reason .. kills that light..bad.

Good luck... bro

I've had the same luck with my 901's regardless of where I bought them from. I switched to a Joye 510 (from Heaven Gifts) and love it. I bought it back in July and am still on the original atomizer with absolutely no loss in vapor production! Now, I think I just lucked out because I have never had an atty last that long with any other model (and I'm a dripper). The 510's have more vapor and throat kick but the batteries suck.

I doubt it's the Juice. I buy most of my juice from HG as well and never had a problem; then again, I did switch to the 510. If anything, like Kattdaddy said, you probably got a bad batch of attys.

I wish I had something high voltage! I'm using Nicoboxes with a single 14500 @ 3.7v. I'm using a bunch of juice from Heaven Gifts, Cappuccinno that tastes like crap, frankly. Wondering if that juice is killing the atty's. They get clogged then produce low vapor and get real hot.

Hi guiltyspark...I got some 901 attys from HG and they were a new design...had like a stainless steel washer around the bridge. They have always had high bridges but the washer was new. I tried one and it did the same thing as yours: flooded a lot and just crapped out! I emailed HG and told them the problems and they replaced it, but sent the same kind. That's the only one I've tried and I ordered like 10 of them. We'll see on the rest of them.

Yeah man... you are having more consequence qith the same symptoms... I bet it is the attys ... can you see any discoloration on the bridge itself.. are you having build-up that is not the usually for you- considering the amount of time that you have ever had any buil-up form.... and, Have you notice any !. difference in the amount of glow from the element versus 2. does the external part of your addy seem to feel hotter than usual.

Just checkin... I didn't want to leave it at the juice

10 atomisers in 2 weeks 8-o8-o8-o

I use 4 atomisers, 510 ones, and they are still working after 50 days ( I had to clean them and "dry burn" them a few time but they work.)

Did you use a multimeter to confirm they are really dead ?

I do not know nothing about the 910 but search those sub forums to get more info about atomisers and your specific model:

If you are sure they are unrecoverable then yes: email them and swith to another model.

Good Luck.

Kattdaddy, they actually look pristine inside, but get externally hot very fast. I'll have to check the glow.

Thx Vin, they're not totally gone, you just can't really get a hit. I'm getting 3.8 ohms on the 2 I checked, I might have to locate my better multimeter to be sure-

Kattdaddy, they actually look pristine inside, but get externally hot very fast. I'll have to check the glow.

I would check with Heaven.. see if you can send them back.. or at least a few for their testing.. They may just say send um all.. we will cover it.

They may not be aware of this problem.. it could be somewhat problematic for only a certain percentage of batches.. who knows!!

I have only had this happen to two of my attys... and I had to send them back in the end for a free three pack..

I just find it odd that you have a good heat source .. but it is just dead.

Make sure you try the new ask the expert section in the forum drop down for some back up advice and second opinions before you go too far..
I would hate to not be thinking of something.. often the simplest thing just passes you by.. until it hits you right in the face.

It wouldn't hurt to go ahead and ohm test one of your attys to see what it is producing.. don't know if you have a meter.. but it can go both way.. too much heat / too little heat.. and if it is getting hotter than you remeber.. its possible that something else could still be amiss.
But, the expert section wouldn't hurt to query.. I wish I could just pull the beam me up scotty and work some majic!!!
hope that helps!!

You have been registered since May but vaping for only 5 weeks?
Not sure what your experience level is under the circumstances, so forgive the basic advice below...

But if they are clogged, which might mean the same thing as flooded, then should I assume that you blew them out? And if you blew them out and you're sure they are still clogged, then you are the perfect candidate for what some claim should not be done, which is to simply clean them and make sure to dry them thoroughly.

Maybe I'll e-mail them. I hesitate to buy more but I'm about out.

If you need some fast try DSE901 Atomizer Matte Black They are only a dollar more and free shipping over $14 dollars so I think the same price. I've never bought anything from them but I am soon.

However I think DC2 may be on to something. The part about getting real hot but no vapor sounds like to much juice or not enough juice getting to the atty.

But I am a beginner myself, only been at it for a couple of months. However I have had both conditions happen to me.:)

Good luck.

I've been a big fan of the bestecig atomizers for a long time - BE is their own manufacturer and they just seem to crank out a higher quality product. I often get a month or more out of an atomizer switching between 3.7v mods and straight 5v USB.

Shipping is a bit worse than Heaven's Gifts, but if you're ordering in bulk it makes up for it.

Sounds like the attys are good. Do you have any regular 901 batts instead of the nicostick to compare?

If in fact, the attys are not good, return them to heaven gifts via airmail - cheapest and they will replace them. Notify HG first to get the correct address, etc.
