I purchased a joye Ego starter system with two 1000v batteries. I vape all the time. So I'm a super heavy user. I've checked all the information on this forum I can find and haven't seen this addressed. Over the three months I've been using the system, the batteries seemed to stop holding their charge as long. And it seemed like they weren't creating the vapor I was accustomed to getting. Maybe it's my imagination, but it seems like as the battery power fades the quality of the vapor reduction becomes poorer. When new that period of time at the end of the charge was relatively short, but the longer I had the batteries, that end time grew longer, and the batteries began to die much more quickly. Finally, I bought new ones and just threw the old ones away. It seems like the cycle is beginning again though. I also bought a pass through system, that I love! Anyone else have this problem. I can't afford to buy two new batteries every three months at $22/a pop.
Help! I'm having a problem with my batteries not holding a charge.

That's normal, ego batteries are disposable. You can go to sweet-vapes.com and buy an e-power, which is just an ego shell that takes generic batteries, and save yourself lots of money in the long run. Some people get a longer life out of their egos, but if you are killing them that fast investing in something that uses generic batteries is the smart bet.
It comes out to about $3.60 a month for each battery. Not so bad if you think of it that way. You get about 200 cycles on an ego battery (something like that). Low resistance cartomizer reduce the battery charge by about 1/2. So, if your charging your battery every day and using LR cartos, that'd be about right I guess.
I've had some last a really long time, others pretty quickly. If you charge your battery before it's dead the batteries will last longer because they don't go through a complete cycle.
I'm wondering if there was a bad batch sent out, as this is the second time today that I've heard of the Joye 1000 model specifically. Check the sites' warranty, or just at least contact them and let them know.
Also make sure the battery post is up well, and it's very clean inside that area. I've always swabbed the post and the charger contact every time b4 I charge.

$44.00 every three months for two batts, and how much a month were you spending on cigarettes??? For me vaping is a lot cheaper than smoking.

When I first started vaping, Joye batteries had a 6 month warranty. I was actually hoping they'd die before that so I'd get a free battery. J/K, but they did seem to last 6 months. I think there are a lot of not so great batteries out there lately.
I misread that. Though they were spending $22 for two.

You didn't state what hardware you were using...low resistance or standard resistance? Low resistance will cause premature death to a proprietary battery faster than you think. I still have my original eGo kit that is coming up on 2 years. No I don't use it very much anymore other than to test juices but when I first got it, it was heavily used. It's never had anything lower than 3ohm on it. Still hits like new.
You might consider getting an E-Power (I'm not a fan of but others are) or a Bolt. Both take a rechargeable battery that is a lot cheaper to replace. I have 6 Bolts and use them everyday. I only use AW batteries in them and haven't had a battery go out yet, plus the batteries have been used in other mods for the past 6 months. Oh forgot, all my Bolts have extensions to take an 18650. You might take a look.
Bolt...www.vaporbeast.com...I believe his still comes with the extension sleeves. You would need a charger and 2 AW 18650 batteries. With this setup, you can use low resistance without stressing the heck out of the batteries.
