Ever seen Gas lines?
To little Gas and prices sky high?

Hoarders are causing Nic to be is scarce supply and priced are starting to rise. People need to slow down a bit and Not Panic buy.
If your Wallet is saying 250ML do NOT let your brain go running after 1000ML. and take a second to think about the next person in line.:glare:

While your logic is sound, I still haven't seen any major nic supplier that is 'out of stock' or charging through the roof for the stuff. You can still get 120ml bottles in PG or VG base for ten bucks, which I consider absurdly cheap, and a liter is only $70. That's in 60mg btw, for comparison purposes. I'm down to six milligram juices, maybe a 12mg once in a while, so a liter of 60mg is going to last me well beyond the time I plan on quitting the nicotine entirely. At that point it'll probably be traded or donated to someone on here who has a need for it, assuming mailing the stuff around doesn't become illegal.

Prices are just starting to creep up, but that is always an indicator
As for Out of Stock - WL is 100% out of stock at this time nothing in any Nic % available. Venders are starting to snap up supplies and Venders are always bucks higher.......while purchasing at a discount you or I cannot get.

From Wizard Labs:

UPDATE 8/14/13
We are periodically restocking nicotine solutions as our lab schedule allows. Currently the demand continues to exceed our production capabilities, and higher concentration solutions sell out within a few hours of restocking. In order to help meet the demand, we've signed a new lease to double the size of our facility, and construction has already begun on two new labs. Barring any unforeseen delays, we should have the first lab operational within the next 2-3 weeks. Once both labs are fully staffed, we hope to be able to safely double our current production and reduce or eliminate the current delays and stock restrictions.

No need to panic yet...

The FDA is not making a ruling in October, they are planning to propose how they intend to regulate.
After that there will be a public comment period that will last for at least one month, and maybe much longer.

There will be no changes, no regulations, until all of that has taken place.

But on the other hand, they may not even propose their regulations in October.
I believe there have been three times in the past few years that they said they were going to and then did not.

--So they may not do it
--And if they do there is still a chance they won't be so bad
--And if they are bad we have a reasonable amount of time to fight back

Otherwise, then yes, it could be time to panic.
:)

I think that regulating liquid nicotine would be the easiest thing that the government could 'police'. JMHO.

I'd be comfortable with that as long as it did not drive up cost and a responsible adult could purchase.

Having been in a Been there Done That situation with Freon regulation, I have seen/lived with Government STUPIDITY.
Scaled TAX increases - taking a product from $21 for 30lbs to $400
Requirements for Certification with documentation for purchase
Regulating Maximum volume of Retail packaging

Then allowing JoeBlow No Nothing to walk into a Parts store and purchase as many <Retail> packages as they like without ANY idea of how to properly or safely use an Over Priced, Over Regulated Hazardous Product........................{ Reminiscent of Tobacco Control}

CAUSE and EFFECT

Cause they want our money.........They effect anything they can get away with to get it.

I remember well when I started vaping 3 years ago and realized a few weeks later that there was a lawsuit in process that's outcome could ban all ecigs :( There was NO way I was going to let my new found freedom from smoking be taken away from me. I spent the next few months stocking up each month on stuff that could prolong my ability to vape if I couldn't easily continue to buy what I needed to vape. I still have a lot of that stuff in my stash :D

Since back then our toys have progressed a long ways. :) We didn't have rebuildable attys back then which today is a huge improvement to be able to be self-sufficient into the future if needed. Wire and wicking material will never be difficult to get.

As has been said already in this thread, NOTHING is going to change quickly. Take the time to find what works for you. Reseach DIY as many of us believe that will be the area most needed IF the FDA ever does actually get around to issuing their deeming order and putting restrictive regulations into place for ecigs. We can make our guesses as to what the FDA would say within their regulations but until we actually see them they are only guesses.

I'm sure that part of WL's bottleneck problem is related to the explosive growth in the industry. Business is booming at a lot of little storefronts and outlets, some of whom use WL, RTD and MBV as sources for their liquids. I'm sure that the possibility of imminent restrictions is driving it, too.

There are very few established vendors who aren't seeing significant year-to-year increases in sales. The successful ones like WL expand their capacity.

I just joined CASAA today. I don't quite know how the FDA operates--and I'm a lawyer!--but I believe that there has to be a public comment period before they can regulate. Cooler heads have to prevail right now. There are millions of us out here, judging from this forum, and we have to organize. Drown 'em with comments. Write letters. Donate money. Fight them with facts, and logic. United, we stand, I hope.

Maybe they will just tax nicotine and pre made juice with nicotine, sure it suck for the ones who use it but you paid taes on analogs for years right. maybe won't be that bad. I hope they leave internet sales alone, but seems they keep trying to get all venders to tax everything they sell, used to only be in the same state if you lived there.

This whole thing is kinda like gun control, the day the Gov try go house to house to get everyone's guns will be the day were going to have another HUGE war.
