I am looking to purchase an e-cigarette that produces LOTS, and LOTS of thick cool vapor! I have been searching all over and there are soooooooo many products out there that I just can't get to the information I am looking for. I can not post in any other sections because I am a "newbie" but if any of you have had great success with a product that won't stop giving a great pull one week after purchase, PLEASE let me know. I have gone back to smoking analog cigs because of the huge disappointment with the Joy 510. It hurts my throat, burns it, doesn't give me much of any vapor, it eats up e-juice like sponge soaking water yet gives no vapor in return, I am eating and sucking most of it. Anyhow, I was disappointed and now looking for something else. Please no comments from vendors, retailers or suppliers, I really need to hear a recommendation from a customer who has NO INTEREST in pushing their product. I AM TRYING TO STOP SMOKING AND NEED A E-CIG THAT CAN PERFORM!!!! PLEASE HELP!

You're in luck! Vendors cannot post in the New Members Forum.

Big clouds of vapor, cool vapor, and less throat hit.

Sounds like you should be looking at larger batteries than a standard 510 to get the power to make big clouds of vapor.

Cool vapor sounds like a dual coil cartomizer like maybe a smoktech. (sic?)

Less throat hit and more vapor leads me to thing along the lines of less nicotine and more VG. Maybe a 12-18mg juice with a 70/30 PG/VG ratio?

As a "newbie" here myself, I will tell you that I started with an Icon V1.1 from Puresmoker.com. It is a 3.7V mod, uses 510 threaded adapters (cartomizers, atomizers). I am very happy with its vapor production. I am using 2.0 ohm low resistance cartomizers, and using the Tonic brand juices they sell on their site @ 16mg nic. I get through most of the day on one charged battery, just change it after work in the evenings. I did a lot of research into the e-cig when I started So that I didn't spend a large amount of money on a product that would not help or leave me wanting more!!

I am sure that more experts will chime in shortly.
Best of luck!!

As for vaping hardware....

KGO from hoosierecigsupply.com
Boge 2ohm cartomizers
Drip Tip - feels nicer on the lips and makes topping off your cartomizers a breeze
Couple extra atomizers to test out different flavors

As for the burning, you need to go with 12-18mg nicotine and about a 50/50 mix of pg/vg. If it still gives too much of a TH, go higher on the VG percentage and drop your nic level some. VG tends to "smooth" the vapor...at least for me it does.

Welcome to ECF!

You should have gotten the 510 to work correctly...you would have plenty of vapor and no sore throat. The heavy TH low vapor issue is poor atomization of the e-juice. Probably wicking issue, wrong atomizer, hitting to hard/fast, or possibly too high of nic. Some juices may do that too if they need to steep.

It took 5 volts for me to quit. Hits like a cig. No long-slow-draw crap. A true 5 volts with 3.2 ohm atomizers. Plenty of vapor, normal hits, warmer. Similar to (but better) than using LR atomizers on big-batt stuff.

Good Luck.
