Hi All,

I'm hoping someone can offer some advice. Yesterday, I decided to clean the contacts on all of my batteries. I went to take the Vivi Nova off my vamo (which I had just filled with juice) and thought I had grabbed it by the bottom to twist off. Unfortunately, I must have grabbed by the tube because the next thing I know, I have a juice mess all over my vamo and desk. I immediately ran to the sink and rinsed out the Vivi Nova however wasn't thinking and also rinsed the vamo under water as well.

It's been sitting on the counter drying out for about 18 hours now. I tried putting the battery back in this morning however it just blinks when the battery makes contact and then doesn't turn on.

Is there anyway to fix it? Or do I give up the ghost and buy a new one?

TIA!

Try electronics cleaner from radioshack or other places, Walmart sells it too.. Spray and saturate it and the insides and let it dry real good for several days getting out as much of the cleaner as you can. That is what Id do.. Had that happen once also.. The cleaner will displace the water and is safe for components inside. you dont want to run power through it until all is dry.. Canned air blown thru it can help displace the water..

DO everything above to make absolutely SURE it is dry.

THEN on the off chance you had a blond moment like I did yesterday. Don't forget the 5 click on after you put the battery in.

Yep I changed my battery yesterday and it blinked at me and didn't fire. I was starting to panick when I remembered the vamo defaults to off when you change the battery and I had to 5 click on it.
