I am very new to this, less than a week into it. I kinda had this all fall into my lap because of a e cig my wife brought home.

Did some research and found a local shop near where I live in Phoenix, Hi-Tec Vapor ( Northern & I-17 ). They were so very helpful, spent almost an hour with me, they make their own juices and let you try as many as you would like.

Ended up with a kit and some flavors, have not had an analog since I walked out the door ( 4 days now ).

If you are near that part of town, I would highly recommend them.

I am close to them - going there this Friday after work. Will report back - thanks for the recommendation!

Small but cool update:

A very cool vaper from this forum sent me about 14 little bottles of his cast off liquids to try. There are SO many flavors. I am looking forward to trying them all so I can expand my flavor horizons. He's put things like "Cake", "Chocolate Caramel Coconut Cookies, and "Belgian Waffles" in there - so it's definitely going to be an adventure. A couple of them have mystery names like "G.T.F.O" and ""Technicolor." LOL! Kinda nervous about those, but I guess I'll smell them before I try them?

Bit of advice please from you pros... should I pick up a couple of extra clearos to sample these flavors? Also, since most of the samples he sent me are 18 to 24 mg nic, and that is def too much nicotine for me given my reaction to the 16 mg menthol I've been vaping (headaches/sleeplessness, etc), what is the cheapest, easiest and quickest way to dilute them?

I wish I could tell you how to dilute juices, but I just don't know. The best advice I can give you is to take shallower drags and/or just don't vape as frequently. I know that probably isn't a lot of help, but it's the best I can offer.

As far as vape shops in the valley, if you're in the east valley you might also give Synergy Vapor Labs a visit. It's on the southeast corner of Southern & McClintock, you might have to look about a little in that little shopping center there.

Synergy Vapor Labs - Premium E-Liquid, Electronic Cigarettes, Parts, and Accessories should have their exact location.

G.T.F.O. is definitely a mystery flavor. Technicolor however tastes like that fruit stripe gum with the zebra on it. If you go to the websites for the vendors, they give a description. This might help for the more obscure names. Or, you can just be surprised. :)

I would give shallower drags or vaping less a try. Not sure how much you are hitting it, but I find that when I'm involved in something, I chain vape not even knowing it and my regular nic level will give me a headache. Someone with more experience doing it may know, but I think I read that you can dilute juice with distilled water. Or buy some plain PG at the drug store.

How about using vodka?

I've only ever cleaned things in vodka. Not sure I would use it to dilute juice. I've never had to dilute juice before, but if I did, I would just buy some PG.

Another option for you, because you like menthol, buy some 0 nic menthol liquid and use that to cut the high nic stuff. That will give those flavors a bit of menthol for you.

Quick and easy way to "dilute" is just plain old water ... fill your clearomizer a little less than normal
then add a few drops of water and shake to mix. Not the best method as you will not know what the
nic level actually is but it will be lower. Will hold off the going back to the real nasty smokes till you
can find a juice that works for you.

I've played around some with inhaling alcohol before, though in a culinary sense and not in my ecigs, and would recommend staying far away. The effects are... quite effective, and I'm not exactly a lightweight.

PG and VG are both fairly cheap and easy to find. Wally world has VG, and I'm pretty sure the DIY forum has a few lists of stores and/or types of stores that carry PG.
