Sounds like you have the LED in series with the atty (battery, switch, LED, atty & back to battery). It won't work that way. Either remove the LED or wire it in parallel with the atty (you should put a resistor in series with the LED to limit the current that goes through it).

Can I get a diagram about wiring the led in parallel? Im Not picturing how that would look. Thanks for the input. I am working on a nico stck right now and would like to finish one working mod. Changing batts ever hour sucks my balls.
Jason - you'd have the LED and resistor connected together, then connect that across the atty or switch.
So - center of atty - resistor - LED - outside of atty.
Or - output of switch - resistor - LED - outside of atty.
Both work the same.
