I'm looking to buy a longer lasting battery unit, but there are so many choices out there. I know everyone has different opinions, but I could really use some help.

Here's what I have and what I'm looking for. I have a Kr808D-1 while I like it I want something that I don't have to recharge all the time. I like using cartomisers, would like to try dripping but don't want to have to drip. The long and short of it is is there a PV that I can use my existing equipment with? Would like to try an ego but not sure if I could use 808 cartos on them do they make an adapter?

Thanks in advance:D

I picked up the eCo kit from Good Prophets because Rob said that they operate at 4.0 volts. They have the same vapor quality as my kr808s and the battery life is great at 650mah. It is a 510 though, so an adapter would be needed for kr8 cartos which is what I use.

There's also the Liberty Flights' Riva 901 kit which wouldn't need an adapter. Although they are currently out of stock, they should be showing up any day.

i have an eGo USB on the way, so i can charge and vape all day at the computer then unplug the USB cable and be good to go for several more hours. it's gotten some really good reviews so i'm excited. i'm also an 808 carto user and ordered the adapter with it. should be here tomorrow, i'll let you know how it goes.

Not to be that guy, but there's next to no way the eCo puts out 4v. It's a good price for an eGo knock-off though.

@ OP I'd second the Riva, but really, if you like the 808, you might want to look at a true mod for longevity sake.

I dunno basilray, I have no way to check the batteries under load. They are according to a post by Rob over at the GP sub-forum, so you'd have to ask him. All I know is that it vapes just like my kr8s with the same cartos and an adapter, which makes me happy. :)

If it put out 4v, I think there would be a lot more talk about that device, as it would be the first proprietary battery design (to my knowledge at least) to put out 4v. 3.7v, maybe, 4v, no way.

I would still be surprised if it put out a true 3.7v under load.

If you know what I need to check them PM me with a shopping list. I'm curious as well and would be willing to pick up what I need to do it with.

Get this before they run out of stock again. It's a great pv and I don't think you'll find a better price anywhere. They carry the Riva and Ego but Riva has slightly longer battery life than Ego and is less expensive.

Electronic Cigarette - Starter Kits - Riva 510

That's the link for the 510s but the 901s are back in stock as well. They will fit the 808 cartomizers.
