HELP ME!! Bat Stuck!

Sitting at my computer puffing away, suddenly my battery is blinking, ah well, time to change it...

I go to the kitchen to get the other fresh battery, lit up green in the changer plugged into the wall. I try to unscrew the battery from the charger, it won't budge. I unplug the charger from the wall and try and try and try and NOTHING will get this frehsly charged battery out of this charger. It will turn, around and around, but will not unscrew from the charger.

I only have this one charger, and these two batteries. I think I'm going to cry... What do I do to get this out of here?

sounds like it is cross threaded on the charger. threads are more than likely stripped thats why it keeps spinning round and round.

not 100% sure though as i can not see what is actually happening.

Sounds like the connection in the charger came loose. Pull the batt towards you. Keeping the tension on the batt, slowly try to unscrew the batt. If the connection in the charger turns, pull on the batt a little more.

What you are trying to do is keep the connection from turning.

Not sure if this will help at all but have you tried pushing down on the battery while trying to unscrew it?

No worries! I think at this point, it's a given the charger is toast. Push, pull, whatever will work!!!

It's spinning way too easily, I can pull it straight out with all my might and it still spins. I can do it gently and it spins as well.
I have tried pushing into it and same thing. There is a definate clicking feeling when it spins. It's quite stuck and I'm getting desperate.

I GOT IT! With a grippy oven mitt in the hand holding the charger and a pair of pliers grabbing the battery, I FINALLY got it out of the charger just when I was giving up and was on the brink of tears (been a bad week)...
I'm off to order my eGo now, hopefully with rush shipping.

WOOT! WOOT! Jenna!! So happy for you. I was just going to reply saying to take apart the charger.

Now - lesson learned. Get extra chargers, extra batts. Oh yeah, take a hammer and beat the holey cr*p out of that stupid charger.

I have had those in my older than dirt house. I thought they were cute.
