I have only been vaping a few weeks but it is obvious that I need a manufactured battery mod. I went through 3 batteries on my 510 on a 7 hour drive. I like the way the 510 vapes. What is a good battery mod that is not too thick? Are thier any American Made attys or do they all hook up to origional attys? Seems like the perfect PV would be a complete beefed up version not just a beefed up battery? Anyhow if I can buy a battery that will last 8 hours I will be happy. Suggestions my fellow PVers?:D

Ok two post I just made.

Preface: I make my own.

The two that seem to be the most reliable are the Chuck/Little Chuck and the Silver bullet/BB. OK thats 4.

If you want to go expensive the Super T looks well made and reliable.

With adaptors these all can work with any atty available.

I'll save you some trouble. The atomizer that comes with every e-cig large or small comes from China. The only exception is so outside your parameters is not even funny. The only thing made in the US are some juices and big battery holders.

There are a few people around here that like the Blu/Volcano but they are few and far between. The most popular that come close to your parameters are- Joye 510, DSE 901, M401 and the KR808.

Good luck and have fun. Check out the library.

I'd have to recommend the eGo/Tornado...you just can't beat the battery life and it's relatively small.

+2 on this one.

If you are happy with the 510 performance and want to retain a traditional cig-like PV, the eGo sounds like your answer.

If you don't mind a box mod, the Bartleby is small, cheaper, and delivers "true" 3.7v vaping (the 510 and it's derivatives put out ~3.1). Some folks claim a noticeable difference.

You'd be pleased with either IMHO, but sounds like the eGo is your best bet

Right now I'm checking out the 510 Magnum PV by TheVaporPro. It's slick, small and boasts up to 2 days without charging. Batteries are $3.95 each and it comes with 2 batteries. The price is $30 cheaper than most. I just wrote to Art from there and he gave me this info. I started a thread asking for reviews on it so you may want to check out the answers. I only got 2 replies so far since I put it on yesterday.

I also like my 510 the best (I have the 901 and the Intellicig) so this Magnum has a adaptor for a 510 atty. I am tired of carrying around a bunch of my e-cigs because of battery life so I get what you're saying.

I also wanted a battery that could last all day but I didn't want to drag around a big bulky battery. A mod is the way to go for all day battery power. My wife wanted me to keep the small mini batteries that come with kits because in her mind if it it doesn't look like I'm using a cigarette then I'll look like a drug user with some weird device.

So I searched for the smallest battery mod. And here it is

It's called The Indulgence. And this one has a 510 atty with a 901 mouth peice in the picture. I put a ruler in to help you get an idea of the size (5 inches). Eastmall sells them and they are located in China. Unfortunately Eastmall is not selling anything right now because of their Chinese New Year. But I heard that they will be up and running again on February 27th.

I didn't want a beefed up battery so this for me was the way to go for a battery mod. It fits in the palm of my hand. And it's only 59 dollars with 15 dollar shipping (last time I checked).

Anyways choose a mod that is right for you. I'm not sure how big the Chuck or little Chuck is but I hope this helps.:)

If you're regularly in a vehicle for long periods of time, use a pass-through with a cigarette-lighter adapter to save your batteries. You can get both on this page at Vapor Kings:

e-Cigarette battery chargers and e-Liquid accessories

You aren't going to find a long-lasting battery that is very slim. If you get a big battery mod, go for high-quality like the Silver Bullet. It's very aggravating waiting on replacement, warranty work etc. while you're back to using the stock batteries (if you can still find them). Definitely worth the extra few bucks up front. Very few SB's have defects, and they are awfully hard to break.

Downside: It's a big, heavy chunk of metal once you get the battery inside. It can double as a self-defense weapon.

EDIT: I just found this video posted 3 days ago on YouTube that shows a lot of different mods at NY Meet last Saturday. It shows the relative size of a lot of different mods set to Pink Floyd music. It's vaper porn! :D

Too many forum warnings... too many porn jokes in head... must... not... post...ghaaa!!
