Pick yourself up a set of precision screwdrivers.

you need either 3/32 or 5/64 for your common micro coils. I use these with 26 gauge and twisted 28. If you want to do smaller coils, use the 1/16 or even a 1/32 nano coil.... these will need different wicking though such as a dragon coil or a cotton cloud.

If you have something like 24 gauge wire and a atty deck with plenty of room, thats when the 1/8 macro coils might be more useful.

will 24 gauge fit in the poles of IGO W? cause thats the only RDA i have.

Well, you don't NEED 24 gauge if all you have is a 1/8 inch bit. Just that the low resistance of 24-gauge will allow around 5 or 6 wraps (dual coils) around 1/8 and still be a very low resistance to light up very fast and hot... making massive amounts of vapor. Make sure you have a high amperage battery for your mod before trying this.

I don't have an IGO W, but I just looked at some pictures of it on google images and it looks to me like it will fit. It doesn't have mephisto sized post holes or anything, but you will be able to get it in there.

I use 24 gauge wire with my stillaire and I am able to produce very good clouds. However, I am constantly experimenting with different builds and seeing what works for me. I never get tired of building. In fact, I bought 100 feet of wire so I can do just that. The key is to try different wraps at different widths and stick with what works best for you.

Ummmm....why are we suggesting .24 ga dual coils to someone just trying to get into rebuilding?
OP... If you don't already have one, buy an ohms checker or a decent multimeter before you buy the drill bits. Learn how to build stable coils first. Maybe stay around 1 ohm. Are you using a mech or a VW mod? You don't need to start out real low. .28 or .26 will give great results. Learn, read and practice. Lots to know about batteries, ohms law, safety.....

Because OP asked later in the thread if 24awg would fit in the post holes of an IGO-W, no one suggested it.
