you need either 3/32 or 5/64 for your common micro coils. I use these with 26 gauge and twisted 28. If you want to do smaller coils, use the 1/16 or even a 1/32 nano coil.... these will need different wicking though such as a dragon coil or a cotton cloud.
If you have something like 24 gauge wire and a atty deck with plenty of room, thats when the 1/8 macro coils might be more useful.
will 24 gauge fit in the poles of IGO W? cause thats the only RDA i have.

thanks for the reply.Yes i have successfully dual coiled a IGO-W with 24 AWG coils but it's tight, really tight, loads of messing around.
Ummmm....why are we suggesting .24 ga dual coils to someone just trying to get into rebuilding?
OP... If you don't already have one, buy an ohms checker or a decent multimeter before you buy the drill bits. Learn how to build stable coils first. Maybe stay around 1 ohm. Are you using a mech or a VW mod? You don't need to start out real low. .28 or .26 will give great results. Learn, read and practice. Lots to know about batteries, ohms law, safety.....
