I'm not on twitter, but one would hope that an MD would know the difference between "Segway" and "segue"

I cant stand this guy. All he can talk about is "The Unknown", all the while disregarding the "Known". I put him on quack status along time ago. Right next to Dr. Od.

One thing about fox, they always show you the kind of logic (or lack there of) the other side is using. Fair and balanced is what they call it, :?)

You can't even mention logic when you are talking about Foxnews and anything they have a stance on. Cigarettes and alcohol are probably the worst thing we can put into ourselves but you can go to a corner store and buy them both which is fine, if you want to do it go ahead and do it. I'm for legalizing everything, who are you to tell me what I can and cannot do with my body. vaping is not good for you, we all know that inhaling nothing is by far the best health wise, but vaping for me is the better way to get nicotine than the alternatives.

Anyone who can't master the English language has no business in medical school -- English may be a difficult, quirky language, but it's sure as hell not rocket science, and does not require a genius IQ -- it requires ATTENTION TO DETAIL -- much like medicine. I would never trust a "doctor" who couldn't even manage to master the language.

No thanks. I don't see any purpose in getting involved in these childish arguments. A real debate isn't going to occur on twitter....there are FAR better forums for the exchanging of ideas and information. Twitter's maximum character count itself is just a fine example of its limiting ability to facilitate useful dialogue.

If you are craving attention, or want "followers", twitter is spectacular. Or if you are marketing something.

If you are trying to learn, grow, develop your train of thought, or further your understanding on a subject, twitter is useless.

The only usefulness that comes from twitter, IMO, is the ability to use it as a source of up to the date information, like a source someone looking for things happening /occuring in the moment somewhere.

Well of course we are going to see people start vaping that never smoked...isn't it marvelous that they now have a choice that
they did not have before !!!

These are the people that more than likely would have picked up a cigarette if the choice had not been there.
I would much rather see someone try an e-cig than to try a cigarette.

Exactly my thoughts.

Everyone seems to forget that at one point....cigarette smokers decided to pick a cig for the first time, too.

These anti-vape people are saying "There are people who WERENT smokers, and take up vaping...." So what? It is better than them picking up a cigarette. Chances are, like you said, they would have picked up a cig if vaping wasn't an option.

Even those who take up vaping, and never had any interest in smoking, aren't doing anything wrong. As an adult, it should be THEIR choice if they want to try vaping or not. NOTHING in this world is harmless. People are going to experiment....so long as they are adults, and their risks don't jeopordize OTHER people, then leave them be.

I don't even think the real issue here is vaping. The real issue is our country has become both a NANNY AND POLICE state. Also, money speaks. Big Tobacco is going to try and supress the e-cig market, until they can wrap their greedy hands around it all by themselves.
