Hi everyone about 4 weeks ago i purchased two starter sets of the super e-cig not to be confused with the super mini although it is from the same maker. They are the ones that come in a blue box. One set for me and one for my husband. Well so far i have spent a fortune on it with burnt out Atomiser and batteries that seem to give up after awhile. I really want to carry on but to be honest it would be cheaper for me to go and buy some tobacco on the black market. I am looking at buying a better one where the batteries and Atomisers last longer i don't mind paying out the initial price as longer as i don't have to keep paying out as i am doing now. I understand i will still need to keep buying juice or cartages but its the Atomisers and the batteries that bothers me keep paying for those is ridiculous. I was looking at the 501 Titan from totally wicked in the UK can anyone tell me a bit more about these and how they work? Also do the manual batteries work and last longer than the auto batteries? Do the Atomisers last longer than mine are doing at present? Mine seem to get about 4 days and then they are no good i have tried cleaning and doing all the other things suggested but nothing seems to work. I think it is time to stop spending so much on these and turn to something that might cost quite a bit to buy at first but will be cheaper in the long run as its parts will last longer. Can anyone help me out here i have no clue where to start or how these other e-cigs might work. I am in the UK so if there is anyone out there that can help i would be most grateful. :wub:

The 510 is a workhorse. I have bought 4 kits of this model and havent had to replace anything as of yet. ATM, i am only using 2 atomizers and 2 manual batteries, and the rest are waiting as spares. The manual batt on these are sealed, so that no juice can fall down and gunk up the auto switches. Also, the manual batts help to prolong the charge life as well as heat up the attys fairly well. I am sure of the suppliers for these in the UK, but in the US these kits can be found for $50US which is a lot less than what TW charges (89.99 here). I started with a super cigarette, and moved to these quickly as i wasnt pleased. If you try these 510, you will have a much better vaping experience IMO.

I have just been reading about the janty i quite like the look of the kissbox its £85 for the set but to be honest i have already spent that and more on my two that i have now so if i could be sure that the kissbox worked well and its atomizer and battery last longer than 4 days i would pay it. Any views on the janty at all? Or is it just the same as the titan?

Hi Tessa;

So far since Feb. I have tried E9, 801, 901 and 402. I much prefer the 2 piece model with the atomizer in the cart. Have refilled many times and they keep on working. My last order was from Eastmall for their DPV9, different battery, lots of vapor and easy draw. This is the one I will stay with plus my 801.

Good luck and don't give up. After smoking nearly 49 years I have completely switched over.

Hi Tess, if you really want something more reliable & don't mind spending a bit of money on the initial outlay. I can highly recommend Trog's Screwdriver.

The batteries are so cheap to replace & last a long time. You should also find that your atomisers last longer, it can often be faulty batterrie with the mini or super that can burn out your atomisers. You don't have that problem with the Screwdriver.

Tessa, at the moment you can only buy the screwdriver from Trog via the link in my last post. But soon Totally Wicked are going to be selling it as well as their sister company The Electronic Cigarette Company.

The SD uses either mini or Classic atomisers depending which model you choose) that can be purchased easily from most sellers.

At the moment, the batteries can only be bought from places like Deal Extreme, but I think Pillbox of totally Wicked has said he will be also selling the batteries.

If your in the UK check out intellicig, talk to John, he is extremely helpful. Cheaper than the 510 w/better battery life. If you want crazy vapor go 510 w/manual battery, w/ECOpure from intellicig. If you want better battery life and something a little more close to size and handling (in terms of how you use it, i.e. no button) get an EVO. Hope that helps.
