so I want to go VV but man it is so much money I am right on the edge of getting an infinity but I can't find a post where people say how long they can go on a set of batteries? I watched a video and the guy said about what a14500 gets is that true? I vap a ton and use 2-3 14500 aday but I think they are on there last leg they don't last as long as they did at first but hey I'm rambling!! so how long do you get off 1 set and how much do you vape? if you have any other pros or cons to the infinity let me know. thank you

I vape around 3ml a day maybe 4ml. I get most of the day on a set of batts. So basically i have to change out the batts once through the day. Good thing about the infinity is that the vape does drop as the batt dies. It has regulated voltage. It will vape the same until the batts cant handle anymore. You know when your using a standard mod the first couple puffs are great, then they start to taper off? The infinity does not do that. It stays at the sweet spot u set it til batts are dead. I hope i expained that right!!! Some one help me!!!

Obviously dspin the ∞ is not for you. Although for me I don't want to carry around something that BIG. The form factor of the ∞ (VV and the diameter barely bigger than a eGo) is much more important than if I can vape for 12 hours. That being said, I get about 6 hours on a set and an extra set fits in the change pocket of my jeans.

topher I've never used 14450's but I imagine they're similar. I have 3 sets for my ∞ and I have never gone through all 3 in a day of heavy vaping. The pros for me is the size, I wear dress slacks and I carry it in my pocket to see my customers. Also 4.65v (or whatever voltage) regulated hits the same on all devices.
Cons (not for me) is no LR attys. Which is not an issue because that IS what VVis for.

18650? Damn the only problem with 2 of those in a PV is the size. I could also use a motorcycle battery but again the size. In the long run your going to find with 2 sets of batteries you can vape forever. Also in the long run when you figure all the PVs you buy in the constant upgrading in the end the Infinity or Buzz covers them all. Then you won't end up like us with a stack of PVs and Mods we have that now collect dust since we got our Infinities because it does what each one of the others do all by itself. I have 16340 mods, 14400 mods, 14500 mods, 18650 mods, and adjustable voltage passthrough that can be powered by anything from 2x 3.7volt batteries to 30 volt and is now on a 12 power supply that's ac fed but none of them are as good as my Infinity or my Buzz because that's what I'm vaping on. Another good thing is if you set it at 3.95 volts every puff you take will be at that level until the battery needs a charge. None of that declining voltage as the battery loses power. Then put that set in the charger and your other set in the Infinity and continue on. There is no time restriction.
Another thing, why use LRs that are not needed and drive your batteries harder when you don't need to? They were made to compete with HV vaping.
Wharf has the answer.

No way would I get any mod unless it was a minimum 18650. I get 3 - 4 hrs. out of a AW IMR 18650 - and I chain vape w/LR 1.5's I get 10- 12 hrs. out of a AW 18650 2900 mah using all 1.5's.. I switch out the batt when vaping changes. Usually around 3.8 to 3.9

1st you are using 1.5 ohm attys !!! they SUCK CURRENT also obviously you are vaping at 3.7 volts so you have NO CONTROL , we are getting 12-20 hours out of 2 16340 batts on the new design and they are 880mah ! BUT we use higher ohm attys this reduces the current draw and increases battery life !

You have been caught by the LR atty myth sorry to hear that.

so I want to go VV but man it is so much money...

If you really want to be sticker-shocked, take a look at what a Provari or Darwin would cost you.

If you moved quickly—and cosmetics aren't an issue—you could order a blemished Infinity kit (with batteries & charger) for $92.50, or $85.57 after using the "ECF Buzzkill" discount code.

Having pointed that out—and in view of your concern about battery life—you might be better advised to wait a bit for the Pro series, which will use an enhanced battery technology and deliver a significantly longer battery life.

Buzzkiller I believe D-Spin is vaping that other VV.....

LR atties on a VV is totally missing the point IMO....Up the volts too 4.5 + or - and the resistance of the atty too 3.0 and you will get better results than any LR can provide...You also benefit from longer battery cycle and much longer atty life....Bigger wire and tighter windings found in 3.0 atties last longer and vape much better...LR atties flat out SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!

As PI has stated the Infinity has a price that simply cannot be matched...Well maybe by an EGO...Take a look at what you get for little monies.....Thumb wheel adjustable VV in a sleek PV...Less than a hundred for a kit!!! You won't beat that...New tech is on the way that will put battery cycle time on top of the PV chart...You're always gonna need a back up...I'd grab one of those blem Infinities and vape it until the new tech arrives...Then I'd use it as a back up...Either way you can't go wrong with NotCigs...................
