Got my Infinity today :)

Lol I thought I'd keep you from having to hide under the work tables Wharf. Truthfully though, I change avatars quite a bit... granted, not as much as Whiskey, but I get bored with them after a while.

Yep I was in the same boat. I tried the Darwin and Provari both top notch units but I was no fan of the 5 button push menu system on the Provari just to be able to adjust the voltage. What I really like about the Darwin was the wheel that adjusted the voltage. All the other features on the Darwin is very nice but it comes in a much larger unit.

So far I am really enjoying the ∞. I wish the button was bigger and rounder but, other than that no complaints.

It don't work for me. I get alt 23 and it shifts the page.

Nope this does not work for me but I use a Mac. What you can probably do on any platform. In your Browser you can use edit -> Special character and pick the symbol.

Heres what happens to me with the caplocks on or off when I get to alt 23 before the 6 is entered the page changes to this:

Google Chrome...that explains it. Chrome has a lot of built in keyboard shortcuts that are on by default. I had a number of issues where keyboard shortcuts interfered with things.

Actually I use Chrome and it works perfect for me. ∞ Could it be a manufacturer option hidden away? I know my laptop has a strange one involving the touchpad. If I hit it in a particular way (which I haven't figured out yet) the browser font shrinks to nothing.

Edit; Wait! I've got it. 5C are you using the upper row number keys or the number pad keys? I just tried my upper row keys (I usually use the pad) and it sent me to chat???

I was going to correct you Wharf and say that there's no "alt' key on my Mac Pro keyboard, just an "option" key. Then I tried to brush a speck off of my "option" key, Grabbed my reading glasses and found that the tiny speck actually said "alt". You know you're getting old when......

Yea, that would do it to. I forgot about that. You have to use the number pad.

@Bov maybe you were thinking of NUM LOCK?

Well it used to work on my other keyboard b ut this one won't. They're both iogear long range keyboards. I have a third long range I could use but copy and paste works easier for me. ∞ BTW if I use the numbers pad nothing happens.

Right on Fran. I tried all 3 of my keyboards and it just isn't happening for me. I did it when the Infinity first came out though. But this only takes me one hand so I don't mind. ∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞
