Here's a few small setups I like to use.

I don't use mechs for high powered builds. Lowest I usually go is .35 or .4 depending on my build/atty/juice. At higher ohm ranges my battery size gets smaller, as does the form factor.

From all of those the top pic (ss and brass mods) is my fave. Comes with 18650, 500 and 350 tubes) and has an amazing magnetic side fire switch. Next up would be a satburn. You can buy whatever tube size you like in the 18XXX range. Recessed button, no lock ring required if you carry it in a separate pocket from other gear.

Happy to talk about them if interested.

I know having requirements might seem strange for a first time Mech Mod buyer but I think they are reasonable.

1. I would like it to be a true 22mm device.

2. I would like the mod to be 18650, I am not interested in other batteries.

3. I would like the mod without tank to be shorter than 86mm. I have no length preference once it gets shorter than 86mm. I do not need the shortest available.

4. I would like it to be pocket friendly. Something to prevent accidental pocket firing.

5. I would prefer black or stainless but this is not a firm requirement.

6. I am not looking for a work of art.

Any suggestions?
The SMOK mag baby mod with the prince tank and use the m2 0.25 or 0.15 ohm coil, it's pocket friendly, firing button can be locked so it won't fire in pocket, the m2 coils deliver great taste and cloud density, i would recommend it to anyone looking for a good small mod setup.

The SMOK mag baby mod is not a mechanical mod. It's a regulated mod with a chip. See thread title.

You might take a look at some of the older mech mods, the 4Nine and Smpl mods will meet your requirements. Look at the cheap clones, try them and if you like them, look for the original.

On edit, they do not have a button lock, my bad.

Smpl on the left, 4nine on the right, 18650 battery for size.

wismec machina is the only mech i kept, sold my dotmods and purge ones, due lack of usage, then the machina still stands as a value option, uses both, 18650 and 20700 batteries (18650 wioth a sleeve, i sold the 20700 and use it with 18650 since i do have plenty of them) this babe runs my single coil tanks without issues, some duals too, i cannot regret, so far the unique fact does not fit your need, is not a 22mm mod, is like 24/25mm one!

Regard,

I do not believe I can admire the above post enough. I'm scared even my LOOKING at it over the internet may cause a deep dent, but WOW.
Anna

Well just the dominus mod set up dominus rda and custom leather sleeve was north of 400$ and then there is the pure silver mod in there as well [emoji2369]mech life I guess but SOI mods are on the lower end and thy went under so you may be able to pick some up cheaper now days
But prob not best to make that kind of investment on a 1st mod
