Hello all. I just started vaping a few weeks ago. I started with the new eGo-C tank system. If you're unfamiliar with the eGo-C, it's just like the eGo-T, but has a changeable atomizer. At first, I really liked the eGo tank system. Now that I've been using it for a few weeks, I'm getting really tired of fussing around with it.

It leaks. It floods. I get a burnt atomizer taste a lot. It's hard to wick. It's really just a big pain in the .....

My question to you pro's out there is this...what is the best alternative out there for me if I don't want to use the eGo tanks and atomizer anymore?

I was thinking about trying a Boge 501 LR cartomizer (the eGo battery accepts the 501), but there are so many other options out there now, I don't know where to start. I've also spent so much money on trying different e-juices, I just don't have the extra funds to experiment with a bunch of different variations. The eGo battery is a 650 maH battery.

I want something simple and easy that gives me a great VTF. I'm a pretty heavy vaper, but I like to change out my juices after each tank for variety.

Any help you guys could give me would be much appreciated. I really want to find something that works well. Thanks! Aaron.

If you want to try a tank carto very inexpensively.. go to parksvaping and get the chibi tank. It's inexpensive, simple, easy to use and best of all.. it works great! there are two options (unless you like the ce2 carto which I don't) one is the boge which is smaller and the other is the extra large 1.7 smoktech carto and tank. I like the xl because to me it's just better and holds more juice. $8 will get you a tank with a prepunched carto already in it. If you like it.. you can order more tank kits ($5 for just the tank) and you can punch your cartos yourself unless you want to buy them from parksvaping already punched.

Very inexpensive way to find out if you like a carto/tank.

you can use the xl 1.7 smoktech carto with a tank on your ego. If you like that carto.. they can be bought 15 for $20 at crystalclearvaping. I used to love using my ego with the (it's called the resurrector). then I moved on to vv devices.

If you need inexpensive I'd get a 3.7 simple box mod (Maximum Vapors, Krimson Customs, Mad Vapes- many others on this forum) and some 15 deal Resurrectors at CCV which make a 3.7 device vapor heat wise perform more like a 5 volt; or for a little more you can get a variable volt box mod. I like 3.7 volt but I want longer battery life so I'm hoping to have enough for a Silver Bullet or something like that one of these days.

My Ego-C experience is quite different than yours, hopefully you'll get the bugs worked out, one thing i might suggest, if your not already using them I pick up the silicone tank caps. I was using the T model for a few months and figured out its quirks and the C model is a champ for me.

I posted this on another C type thread a bit ago.

Just received my C setup this morning, I'm using the better K-Go batteries with it and I have to say...
FRICKIN FANTASTIC, finally some amazing flavor from the juices I've tried so far, I'm extremely impressed with it.

I'll definetily will not be needing any sort of mod, that's for sure !, I've tried carto tanks, regular carto's and direct dripping, and after my first couple of hits of burnt poly-fill material I was done with carto's, none of these methods have produced the quality of flavor this Ego-C is delivering with outstanding vapor as well.

I'm repeating myself, but I must say again, the C model is my most enjoyable vaping experience so far.

I would try some carto on their own first. Several cartos will work great on an Ego battery, take a look at a site like madvapes. I like 2.4 ohm ce2 xl clearomizers best for vapor/flavor. A lot of people swear by boge cartos, and you can try a 1.7 ohm dual-coil by smoktek. I found the dual-coils didn't really work for me until I went to a higher voltage device. Once you know what cartos like best, then I would look at a tank. I settled on the dcc tank from madvapes, it sells for around 11 bux or so, and comes with a 1.7 carto in it, but I have moved on to 2.5 ohm cartos in it since then. Good luck, and happy hunting!
