Backstory:
I come from a family of smokers and have committed the ultimate sin: My boyfriend is deathly allergic to tobacco. If he stands near a smoking cigarette his airways close up, he collapses and we needs an ambulance. This hasn't been an issue as I live in the UK and my family in Germany, until my grandfather's funeral, where the problem became very apparent. Boyfriend was constantly running away from family member's lighting up and family members were not having their usual smokes to not scare him off. If his condition wasn't so serious, it would have been funny.

Questions:
ANYWAY, we know however from the UK that vaping is no problem for him! So, I come to you, dear experienced vapours, with two requests today:

1) I am hunting for an e-pipe for my dad that I can get him for Christmas. I am currently eyeing up the E-puffer 629 because it looks awesome, but it doesn't actually seem to have as many features as the 605 counter part (Waterproof? Variable nicotine content?). Honestly I have no clue though. Any recommendations? 100 pounds is pretty much my pain limit for this endeavour.

2) I was looking at disposable e-ciggaretes I could hand out during the next family meet up. I hate that my family can't get its beloved nicotine hit when my boyfriend is around (unless they run into the cold/wet and back in), but there really isn't much room for compromise. I hinted that I wouldn't bring him to the next family thing to avoid the problem all together, but got told to perish at the thought and assured they would not kill my boyfriend with tobacco smoke. Thus I would like to meet the half way and bring some e-ciggaretes along. I have no clue what would be a good choice though and was very much hoping for the advice of some more experienced vapours.

About me:
I smoke, but only dried herbs I get from places with "apothecary" in the title. What goes into my pipe, I mix myself depending on day and disposition. Luckily this particular pleasure is still legal, so I am not planing on turning to vaping myself, but my family of smoking chimney and choking boyfriend would much appreciate your sage wisdom!

Hi :)

There are a few e-pipes on the market. E-Puffer wouldn't be my choice, based on cost.

Put it this way; you could buy a Kamry K1000 Pipe or smok e-pipe for about £30-40...better, cheaper to run and... well.... you get the idea. (Don't get ripped off).

As for disposables.... you could pay anything from £1.99 to £8.99 for the essentially the same product.

Have your family ever 'vaped' on an e-cig. Not all smokers like them.... If you'd really like a recommendation, I can maybe help.... :)

I've read that the energy connection can be a little dodgy in the K1000, but I shall read up on the smok. I'm worried that if anything goes wrong my dad will go straight off it again.

Yes, I would love a recommendation for e-cigarettes. I know not all smokers like them, but it's the best I can come up with. If some don't like it, they can still head out into the wet and cold with their trusted cigarettes. Any spares we can offer visitors at home - we have plenty of friends who enjoy them.

Thank you so much for taking the time to reply!

new_pipe.jpgDo look at the VapeOnly VPIPE 2 18350 e-pipe starter kit. I got mine from BeyondVape.Com It's beautiful and as a former pipe and cigar smoker myself, very well made. I think they even have a video of it on there site. Mine was just $69.00 but I've seen them up to $120.00. Check them out! Now that I look at mine, it marketed by Ismoka Eleaf Ipipe.

Hey Rev, I bought one of these, paid about the same, but I had some problems with it and the china vendor actually is supposedly refunding my money.

1. The draw is extremely hard compared to all other vape devices I've used from cigalikes to, well pretty much everything, and there seems to be no way to adjust it.

2. The atomizer/internal tank gurgles the juice out of it when you draw. They suggested using two of the rubbers at the top but I should not have to do that.

The only other irritating thing is it is very large and heavy. VERY well made, and I have not held another pipe mod so they might all be heavy, but no way can you keep it in your mouth without holding it with your hand.

The LED that lights up is a little goofy (to me) but the auto switch works great so no button to push. The theory of this pipe is fantastic for the price but I was disappointed by the shortcomings.
