Does the battery have a logo on the bottom? And that is not a good brick and mortar store if they didn't explain to you how to use what you have. I know at the local shop I frequent (Okay, basically live at 4 days a week volunteering my help and skills), we explain everything to the customer to make sure they have the most pleasant vaping experience.

They have evod in the store but the lady said the changeable power supply is an upgrade so I went with it... Although I still don't know the purpose of the dial on the bottom

The dial on the bottom is to adjust your voltage output. Look at your tanks and see if you can see a number printed on the pice that runs in the center of it. It should say something like 2.5 with an ohm symbol, or 1.8 or 1.5. If it is in the two range, adjust that bottom knob to about 3.9 or 3.8, which will be your sweet spot for most 70/30 mixes. Also, I agree on upgrading to a Kanger Pro II. I did that when I bought my first setup. Great vape, full flavor, and nice clouds for what it is. They usually come with a 2.2 ohm coil, so set the voltage at 3.9 and have a blast.

same set up as i got in begging of this year ce4+ tank with vivi nova atty's with c-twist battery.... i like the battery ..mine too is a clone... but still works even thou dropped it more then few times on solid floor as far as ce4... its junk .. i got with a set of 5 atty's with different resistence's they all didnt vape right ... the long wick didnt feed the coil fast enough plus the white rubber made the flow into center post harder .... so i had to take it all apart and rebuild right down to the coil . and still wasnt good because of burning taste from hotspots

... to clean it comes apart from the bottom between the smooth metal and grippy metal but frankly im really suprised youre vaping off of it... dont even bother with buying the atty's for the tank ... go with TampaToker69's suggestion with Protank, I've heard people having hassle free vape on that one...

if youre getting to weak of a vape hit the dial up on the bottom of the battery ... it'll happen when the battery will start to drain.. as for me i just upgraded to k100+ mechanical with IMR battery and SCAR RDA atty....which i wouldnt recommend to anyone... too small of a housing ... posts screws come off .. bluh bluh

Not entirely hassle free. Sometimes you get flooded tanks and the dreaded gurgle. But they are easy to fix when that happens as long as the coil wrap is still good. You don't even need to rebuild the micro coil to fix it either.

They did explain but my previous set up was a blu and it was very all of a sudden purchase and it was a lot of info crammed at once... They're awesome at customer service and even if they weren't I still go back as it's the only store in the area that's exclusively vapor products... Most if the vapor stores around here double as head shops which I don't wanna be seen walking into

The smooth and textured part definitely do not separate

Hold the tank upside down (especially if it has any liquid in it). Grasp the plastic part of the tank with one hand. With the other, try to unscrew the base. You might have to use a lot of torque the first time unscrewing it.

If it doesn't unscrew at all, it's a disposable version of the Starburst tank, also known as a CE4. If it does unscrew, it's a rebuildable, often referred to as a CE5. Replacement coils are cheap.

Even if it's the disposable version, it can last for weeks or even months with regular cleaning and proper care.

Congrats. That's a nice first setup and it looks like your shop owner steered you in the right direction.

sounds like mine was the ce5+ as it was rebuildable and his is the ce4 since he cant unscrew the bottom. IBCR did you use vivi nova attys? how was your experience?

My friend the glass part (or whatever) is not glued to metal so with a gentle twisst you can get it out (from base) and do your cleaning or head changing. But it will not last long I presume. Friends up named them CE4 (I frankly dont know what the numbers are for) But I use a CE4V3 since the beginning and it is rebuildable. I have one of yours too. only yesterday I took its head out and amusingly it fits Vivi Nova mini and changed the coil and go ahead vith vivi nova. Still my CE4V3s are under my hand and I use them for different liquids.

thanks for sharing that... i like the CE tanks just not the atty's and i guess youre saying vivi novas arent the stock atties on CEs? also since you mension the plastic isnt glued im gonna try to revive my tank because the plastic tor off right from the bottom and left some plastic fragments in the metal so im thinking i might be able to scrape them off and bring the tank to life so i can try using cotton ball wicking to see if vivi attay can actually work right....

Okay they unscrew it takes a little more force then I expected was scared I would break it! Now everything been good the last days but like someone mentioned above now my battery barely last two hours! I do puff on it pretty hard though but is it normal for a battery to go bad in less then a month? Also so I'm guessing my brick and mortar store won't be the best way to go any of you guys got links to some good kits other then the one posted? I'm trying to get a set of two cigs for less then sixty so I will have a back up and won't have to wait while I charge. It doesn't need to to be variable as I rarely even play with that knob much less understand it
