Everyone has pretty much covered it, just don't give up. I also wanted something as easy as just smoking. It doesn't exist! You can, with some trial and error (and money), find something that will work for you. It may not be easy but can be done, just don't give up. You have already covered a lot of ground so you're close to finding what you want, you just can't see it yet!

Thank you all so much for the advice and encouragement. I did find a head in the packages which has worked for the last hour or two. And I have learned one thing: the ProTank is not for me. Too cold and my juices have almost no flavor in it. Lesson learned. I REALLY like the warmth of the Evods. Perhaps a little more open draw, but it is my favorite that I have tried. I may go pick up an MT3 like my neighbor has. A coworker has an iClear16 and swears by it. Guess it's gonna be the old trial and error for me. I'll go pick up a few different ones tomorrow. Sorry about my first rant. I was really wanting a good warm drag and was losing my mind. I have bought myself a little time ;) Thanks again for the encouraging words. This is exactly why I lurked here and eventually joined.

Try your friends equipment before you commit to buying it for yourself. It is an awesome thing to have other vapers around you, take advantage of having their devices at hand! It is one of the great aspects of having local meets/greets and an actual store near you. The stores should all allow you to try before you buy, if they do not - beware.

You can always put the juice and stuff you don't want in the classifieds.

Just don't give up, there are a lot of stores in OKC I am sure you can find something that works for you. My daughter likes her Vision vivi nova, she would not still be using an ecig if it was to hard or she didn't like the flavor and draw.

Like Hz said, try your friends ecig first to see if you like it!

I'm Active Duty military and you would be surprised how many people are switching over. One buddy of mine had a cartomizer tank and the draw was adjustable, but the flavor was AMAZING. Unfortunately, he couldn't remember what it was called.

Have him take a pic and post it up here in this thread! I am quite sure someone will recognize it!

CE5 clearo's are amazing, rebuildable so when they decide to bite the dust (it's inevitable at some point they will) then you can rebuild it and not spend 6 bucks+shipping on another.

As others have suggested, try the Vision Vivi Nova clearo tank. Or maybe try dripping while you are at home? Some people enjoy dripping for reasons other than just tasting sample juice. It took me forever to figure out what I really liked to vape with, everyone goes through it as others have stated, it just takes time. Kinda like finding your go-to juice, it takes a bit of trial and error.

Got a video you can back up the post for rebuilding the CE5? The best thing to do is when we say such and such is amazing and you can rebuild it is to add a vid link. Not sure if the OP is ready for it, but you could help them understand more with the vid link!!!!!!!!!!!! I have never rebuilt that specific head, only rba's. I looked on you tube and would not know which one would be the proper vid link :(

At the moment I'm using the Vamo with a pro tank and I have a Vivi Nova I keep a different juice in. I have found that it gives me a great vape and the ability to rebuild the heads on the pro tank really cut down on my cost. I was paying about $15 for 5 replacement heads for the vivi but those would last me (i chain vape constantly) about 5 weeks. Now i've been rebuilding the heads on that as well. I can't say anything about the items you have since I haven't used them. My first e-cig was a 510-T which I didn't like at all and after about a month of chain vaping on it the thing completely died. From there I got a lavatube which was my first mod and was very pleased with it. Eventually it died (it was used when I got it from another member on here) then I got my Vamo and haven't been happier. I have a few mods I want to get next but I would definitely suggest not giving up on it. I switched from 2 packs of analogs a day to nothing but vaping literally overnight. Once you find a set up that you like it's smooth sailing. Although eventually you get the bug like the rest of us and want to keep buying new stuff.

I'm still pretty new to this, only 5 months in. I've had days where it was ready to quit, until 2 months ago I still had tabacco and tubes in the house (haven't smoked in 5 months, but mentally I needed them close by). I started with CE4's, they wore out quickly and were throw always. The next few months were carto tanks, I still love those but I hated tossing the carto after a couple of weeks (I had about 8 tanks of different flavors going). Tried the Protank, I do enjoy it, but I found it very I was always fiddling with it ( carto tanks I would for about 15 minutes to set it up, then they were great for. 1-2 weeks, these were everyday for me). Probably exaggerated because during the day I don't vape that much, but at might I chain vape.

After that I tried dripping, only reason I tried it is because I am DIYing my juice and I didn't want to fill a tank and I couldn't stand the juice. I couldn't get the hang of 510 atomizers and I had started to recoil my other clearomizers so I tried an Igo L. Absolutely loved the vape, the flavor, but hated carrying bottles around to drip. So I tried a bottom feeder, and I have never been as satisfied.

Anyways, I am not trying to sell you on any delivery device. Just give you my story, if you had talked to me at any of the times I was frustrated my review of that product would of been awful, but I always managed to work thru it. Even when I switched the delivery system, until I got the new one (which often took 2 weeks) I played with what I had, determined to make it. Once I made it 24 hours without a smoke, which I couldn't imagine until I had done it, I was determined to stick with it.

For clearo's like the evod, I found that dry burning did not help. After I dry burnt I couldn't stand the taste, for me what worked best was soaking in vodka, a rinse, and then leaving to dry for a few hours. N

Best of luck to you, and I hope you stick with it.

Yes it can be very frustrating. I totally agree. But in all honestly coming from a 20 year smoker and dipper after vaping and getting a good vape and knowing the possibility is there, I will never ever go back to analogs again. I like you started with a ego twist and vision clearo. Then I got a vision spinner and vivi nova. Then went to the protank. The protank was not wicking very well and I would get dry hits alot. When I pulled a wick or even half a wick it would flood. But bound and determined to never go back to analogs I took it upon myself to fiddle and modify. My protank now has cotton wicks and 32guage kanthal and the flavor and vapor are off the charts and better yet no leaks and wicks like a pro. I also wrapped some plumbers tape on the connector where the air holes are so only 1 hole is open. The draw is just like the Nova. Fast forward to 3 days ago. Got my AGA-T+, glass tank, 100ft 32guage Kanthal and 400ss mesh. Took a couple tries to coil the mesh but it is a whole new ball game now. I can't believe the flavor and vapor I was missing. I am in love with RBAs now. All in the name of never going back to analogs ever again!

So after wasting around $200 on batteries, ranks, juices, etc. I'm nearly ready to throw this junk away and start back up on real cigarettes. Bought an Ego C Twist kit with 2 batteries, 2 Evod tanks, charger, etc. Put down the analogs the same day (9 days ago). All went well for a week or so. Bought a 1000mah twist, tried some different juices, preemptively bought replacement heads, etc. Long story short, after day 7 the draw started getting really tight on my Evods, so I changed the heads. Both gurgled badly, juice in mouth, the works. So I went to a different store and bought another Evod and another pack of heads. The new head in the Evod worked for less than a day, then got so tight that I couldn't get a hit off of it. Changed heads, 3 puffs, tight again. I wanted to throw the thing. Went to another vapor store and explained the situation. Solution: ProTank. I hate it. The Vale is entirely too cold, even with 1.8 heads. I don't see all the rage about this thing. I would take a "working" Evod over this waste of $20 everyday that ends in "y". All I want is a tank that freaking works! Some have suggested adding wick, or removing this or that. I shouldn't have to pay good money for something, and then have to modify it to work correctly. If that's the answer, it's back to the real ones for this guy. My neighbor has an MT3 and hasn't had a single problem. If I were so lucky. Any other opinions before I go to 7-11 and stop wasting my money "vaping"? Thanks.

I completely understand your frustration. Ive tried vivi nova's/Ce4/Kanger T3 and all lead to the same issues. Have had much more success with my Smoktech Cartotanks. No leakage, consistent flavor and vapor production.

If you are not having any luck with clearomizers(Like me) try the above. Dont know how much ive wasted so far.

I understand the problem you have with your EVOD tanks because I had the same problem with my Vapeonly BCC. Gurgling, dry hits, replaced the heads as well and still get the same problem. And I used different blended juices as well to see if the problem was just that. So overall, it was a horrible experience. I agree with Thomasis, if your looking for convenience and reliability then I would get the Vivinova, i have it and still use it. Never leaked for me, and the wicks worked great. Plus, the flavor is awesome as well. Good luck and don't give up =)

Ditto here! CE5+ wickless->leaked alot, small reservoir. Vivi Nova->dry and burnt hits. EVODs-> leaked in the beginning but after they break in, they're my #2 for flavor and slim profile for carrying. Protank-> had to customize all of it to make it hit right with ok flavor. Shouldn't have to completely rebuild a $15-$20 clearo. Finally got they pyrex Smok DCT cartos. THIS is my go-to. No leaks, easy, 6ml capacity, and EVOD warmth and flavor. Tinkering with RBAs too, but the DCT wins hands down, for me.

That's one of the tanks that I picked up today, and the first that I'm gonna try. Haven't really heard any bad things about them. Can't wait.

I have 4 evods and a pro tank and absolutely love both. Only problem with the pro tank is the airy draw but a good long draw takes care of that. As far as the evods they are awesome also but still a little airy on the draw. I had to tape over one of my holes on the evod to tighten up the draw some. And the vape is definitely warmer on the evod. Regardless all devices have their drawbacks but you will find what you like if u don't give up. I'm only about a month in myself but I can say you will find what works for you. It is still a lot cheaper and healthier in the long run. Good luck to you and stay strong!!
