Menthol should be easy, right? Well, my first attempts haven't gotten off to a great start and I could use some help.

Here's what I have to work with

Flavor Apprentice Koolada
Flavor Apprentice Menthol
Flavor Apprentice Peppermint
Nature's Flavors Spearmint
I also have TFA Cotton Candy and an assortment of their fruit flavors.

I like ECBlends Cool Hit and Mt Baker's Extreme Ice. I think these are supposed to be Koolada based? I'm mainly looking for recommended percentages to make something like Cool Hit.

I'd also like to hear if you've got any recommendations for menthol/mint, maybe a little light fruity accent.

I'm not looking for anything with tobacco, coffee or pastry. I'm also trying to work with what I have, I've got two tupperware containers filled with flavorings and I need to use some of these up before buying more stuff.

Mouthwash? I don't think so. More along the line of Altoids. But I like menthol.

I just tried psycheval's formula as is. It really clears the sinuses. I left room in the bottle to cut it with plain. I might try cutting it about 20%. But I'll leave it to steep a day or so before deciding. Good combo of flavors.

I would expect it to taste more like a very strong gum than mouthwash. Peppermint and spearmint have the same cooling feeling as menthol but they have flavors that are different from straight menthol and each other. Peppermints flavor is especially variable depending on strength. Anything from candy cane to supper minty gums. The flavor you get with mouthwash has a fair bit to do with the sort of antibacterials etc that are in it and don't necessarily represent the flavors of the mint family very well.

Are you perhaps trying to over complicate things? One of the very first DIY juices I ever made was a menthol. It is simply menthol at 5% with no other flavors. I also mix it, and well all my other juices, at 60/40 pg/vg. So I don't know how, or if, differing ratios of pg to vg would affect the flavor.

I can't say if other people would like it, but its my go to vape when I'm not in the mood for a fruit flavor.

19% total flavor sounds like a lot. But I will try that 3/3/3/10 ratio of flavors.

Add 2% Mtype TFA and 1% Tobacco Blend TFA (PG) and you have my ADV. I use between 60-80ml every couple weeks of this. I went as strong as I could take it. I can up the Menthol to 5% and still take it. If you have a head cold you won't after a couple hits. Wrigleys Spearmint on steroids with a menthol kicker is what I get out of the flavors.
